Anyone go and see Glen's show at the local theater last night? What did you think of it?

I paid $12.50 at the local theater. Though not a sell out, the place was close to full. No body can question the fact that he has reviled some stunning information. This has caused some to go underground having been exposed.

I don't know what the "local theatre" price of admission for the televised version was, but I do know that the live price of admission was $90.50 per head. Now I know folks will spend a bunch to see the Roman Circus shows. This seems quite steep for someone purporting to spread a message to common folk.

LOL - 90.50 for a sermon. You can't be serious.

Why anyone would bother listening to Beck is beyond me. The guy is a tool.

how do you know that if you don't listen?

I've seen enough of him. Why listen to Beck when you could listen to Paul, Schiff, Rogers, Faber? He's just riding on the "libertarian wave" if you can call it that, this anti-gov't movement that has enlarged since Obama was elected. Believe me, if the Republicans get back into office, there will be some shuffling going on at Fox, just as there was shuffling at Fox when Obama was elected. Judge Napolitano and Glenn Beck would NOT have their flavor of show on Fox when Bush was in office.

I'm curious what specific you've seen that causes the "The guy is a tool" comment? I specifically don't like him because he is all over the map at times. For instance, in the last election he railed on and on about how there are not enough good candidates running and then he goes and submarines Debra Medina from Texas on his radio show with a comment out of left field. At that point I took him as a talking head for the Fox side of the Republicans (which I knew he was all along). He will continue to stay at Fox as long as his ratings and advertisers support him. This is the same as for Hannity, O'Reilly and Geraldo. I listen to his show for part of my drive to work because that is what is on Sirius Right.

if you have to ask you'll never understand why beck caters to gullible imbeciles.

The ratings are easy. It's the only large "Republican" news outlet, all the others competing with each other. But even Murdoch has admitted it has an "agenda," and while he would never say what that agenda is, we all know what it is. Big government, Republican style.

Although I don't listen to Alex Jones very often, he recently stated that GB is apparently "scheduled" in the near term for job termination, and that some undisclosed skeletons will emerge from Glen's closet on cue.

This, apparently because Beck is getting too close to propagating "the truth."

Believe it or not, I was impress at Judge Napolitano's take on the O'Reilly show. Napolitano was very anti-TPTB. O'Reilly was viciously going against him & was VERY uncivil.

I'm a Beck fan and I think his presentation is a bit over the top at times, but then again, Beck isn't the one running the country into the ground.

Glen Beck isn't really always wrong...in fact a number of little things he suggests are somewhat true. It's almost always the tenuous conclusions that he reaches that are so ridiculous! For example, let's say one would propose that "When the sun is out it rarely rains"... followed by... "There isn't a cloud in the sky".... THEREFORE......"Cheeseburger". Or better yet Nazi Socialist Cheeseburger-with a side of weeping.
