I was invited to this event (http://alumni2.tepper.cmu.edu/alumniweb/events/signup.asp?id=1513&prefix=nyc) by someone on another discussion board I frequent. I have never met this person, but I think I have a reputation on that board. It's my community's web site, and I live in a very liberal town. So, I'm sort of the token libertarian. I have ranted about the fed on a number of occasions.

Anyway, I have not read A History of the Federal Reserve. (http://www.amazon.com/History-Federal-Reserve-1913-1951/dp/0226520005/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1270242484&sr=8-2) It sounds a tad difficult to read through. Is it a worthwhile venture? I'm thinking this guy is probably pro-fed. Though I think he's a bit critical at the same time. I'm not sure if I'll get to ask any questions, but I'm open to suggestions on that front as well.

I think that anything you can read to learn and be aware of the history of the thieving Fed is good. Read all that you can and educate yourself. 100 years of income redistribution (via charging of virtually risk-free Interest since bankers do not accept responsibility for their lendees being successful) from the people to the banksters needs to be exposed.
