A little research can make you a lot of real money.
Livermore's rules:
Do your in depth research
BE RIGHT
take a HUGE position
& SIT DAMN TIGHT (hardest part is knowing IF & when to sell)
This is like taking :lollypop: from the :sheep: who can't see the wolves.

Livermore : Money is made by sitting...not trading.
Wish I had taken his advice way back when.

And his name just happens to be Paulson.......... Imagine That !!

That is a total misquote! Livermore was the consummate trader making a point about the art of trading... and his point was not buy it and freakin sit on it for years and years! His point was about timing and patience....!!!!!

We only have "all time highs" in nominal terms, not inflation adjusted prices. But common sense should dictate highest production in the time of greatest demand. Regardless of how high gold production figures are at the moment, we are still way off as far as catching up to "peak dollar production".

Billy Clinton (the world's dirtbag) was an expert in calling people telling the truth like Paula Jones "trailer trash." It was a way to mess over the honest ones reputation. This is a total LIBERAL trick.
Read Jesse Livermore's book. It's simple to do.
Zed. or is like govy agent?

So what you are now telling me that perhaps the worlds greatest trader was not in fact a trader?
BULL****!!!!!!!!
I suggest you read it again and work on your comprehension.
BTW.... I'm not what you call a 'Liberal', pathetic attempt at a smear.

I thought I had read gold production peaked around 1970 and has been in steep decline since. South Africa's mines are about tapped out.
The Jesse Livermore quote...
“After spending many years in Wall Street and after making and losing millions of dollars I want to tell you this: It never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It always was my sitting.”
You have to know when to sit tight, every good trader knows this! It is the sitting tight at the right time that makes you the money!
Livermore also said...
“A loss never bothers me after I take it. I forget it overnight. But being wrong - not taking the loss - that is what does damage to the pocketbook and to the soul.”
Cut your losses.... not buy and sit on it taking a drawn down to the wahzzooo!!!!! Again something good traders like Livermore do, not what goldbuggy brained idiots do while quoting his words in the wrong context!
“It isn't as important to buy as cheap as possible as it is to buy at the right time.”
Timing is everything... as a good trader knows!!!!
Why gold investors resort to quoting Livermore out of context I will never know... prolly the JS link! The man, like JS, was a trader and like JS he traded the buy and holders like YOU.

The US and Australia have been steady~~let me see if I can find a chart.
6367
South Africa produced over 32Moz of gold, 2/3's of the world's production of 47.5Moz.
Former USSR was a distant second at 6.5Moz.
Canada, the US, and Australia produced 2.4, 1.7, and .6Moz, respectively.
The rest of the world accounted for less than 9% of production.
