Hey everybody -

My account must have been deleted with the upgrade but no worries I just made myself a new one. I've started raising hens and rabbits for breeding & meat as well as intensive gardening in order to become more self-sufficient. My blog chronicles the whole journey.. so far no little bunnies cause the doe is too young to mate still.. but stay tuned as this summer should be interesting what with baby rabbits hoppin around, the garden in full swing and laying hens doing their thing. So without further ado I present to you http://farmintheforest.wordpress.com

This thread needs pictures, especially of the chicks.

I've a local farmer friend whose wife and daughter raised rabbits, but would sell them or turn them loose rather than eat them.

Great blog byrdman, I'll be back there as I am on my own journey towards independence from the industrial food system. And don't worry about having had to re-register here; everyone did. Accounts didn't get carried over, so don't feel left out. Glad you made it over.

You're welcome. Im glad people like it. Really its just a place to let me outlet some creative energy but if other people like it too thats just a bonus. I'll update this thread occasionally with new posts. Expect book reviews, recipe walkthroughs, an interview or two, maybe even the occasional political rant or two. Stay tuned!
