What makes you think it is late in the month? Yes it is not abnormal, they have until the last day?! So? There is nothing really in the COT that suggests stress, we are barely in contango, it is really flat, that is positive but no backwardation to speak of in the liquid contracts, that is to say at this point nothing looks overly stressed.

Where is the bogeyman?

Looks like more side-stepping. I'm well aware that the Comex rules allow them 30 days to settle out the contracts. I'm merely stating that it does not seem like a common practice for the Shorts OI to use the entire time frame to send the longs notices that silver will be delivered. So....you're saying that it happens this way all the time? And that it's common practice to stretch it out well past the middle of the month?

Well....then slip on over to the Religion subsection of the forum....and spread the news about how the Easter Bunny has changed your life.

Myself, I'm gonna remain un-affiliated....I like to keep my options open to new and improved and ever changing developments.

I joined The Church Of The Imploded Comex. Have they ordained the bunny? I'm a new convert and I'm still reading the tracts.

Seriously.... that is what you are worried about? Some one using all the allotted time to deliver? Is that what you are building a case on?

Why the reference to candies and skirts? Sounds like a another gutless smear, I'm getting used to that from the lower half of the food chain here but why go there? Why not come up with a logical argument of some sort?

I wouldn't know. I've never been allowed in any Church. If the Bunny rules there....you should fit in fine....shoe throwing loud mouths get to sit in the front row I've heard.

Hahaha.....Pot....meet Kettle. (gutless smear?)

I'm not building a case. Just throwing around some questions....and since you claim to know so much about the workings of the Comex...it seems funny that you always avoid those questions and try to change the subject. Maybe you should go back and read this thread again...it seems you're still failing in reading comprehension. (nothing new here....eh Mate?)

This is unhinged... get back to me when we have...

1. Decent backwardation in the liquid contracts... say 5% plus, you know something that says real stress.
2. Some sign of a short squeeze, rapidly rising price against shrinking OI with a big move in one of the COT categories.

We have a flat contango/backwardation, a persistently strong price and no real struggle to get metal. If the idiots around here had half a clue they'd realise that is a good thing, it actually says that there is more fuel in the tank here, it actually says that we can go higher in a orderly way. This is the best thing for all silver investors yet we have talk of blowing the markets up, unprovable and illogical premiums and shortages that aren't. Yippy... that would feed a price spike and crash that would benefit none of you, no one here would take advantage of it and you be left with a shattered market and an industry unable to function because of lack of risk control. Seriously what investor in their right mind wants to see the market freeze up??? Trust me, no refiner will take your metal if they can't hedge it. Just how do you think this will all work? Barter at the local swap meet? Maybe if you have a sack of coins, but what it you have a real investment?

Giveme a break... stop willing the sky to fall in, you will not like it if does! This is going nicely so why bitch?

And we are on the attack... LOL You are really clutching at straws!!!! The answer to your question entirely depends on who is stopping the contract and how they are placed. There is no reason why they should rush to deliver, there can be a number of logistical reasons that they are using the time available, that is after all why the time is available. If it where a problem you'd expect to see stress in the areas I outlined.

Now instead of being a prick (notice the direct insult... not gutless) why don't you actually state the case you are trying to make.

Oh...sorry that is right... you have no case...no point... and it seems no idea!

Once again...more avoidance of the issue and side-stepping.

blah blah blah....wango contango....yes, thank you for more needless info.

I never said I wanted the Comex to default....that's just your poor memory and lack of reading comprehension putting words in other peoples mouths. I enjoy things the way they are...and buying silver on the cheap. I'm stating the "longs" are employing the 'test run' of their new silver trading strategem (Comex claims to have sufficient levels of physical to service contracts...and some traders are interested in putting that claim to the test)

It's real simple....and I'm enjoying the show as it unfolds...the Shorts OI look to 'dodge' the bullet in March, but will do so taking advantage of the 30 day window. This looks to be a continuing strategy....and I'm guessing this will be a much discussed matter again when May and July's primary delivery months come around.

I'm actually hoping the Shorts come up with and deliver the metal and leave the longs with the option of jumping the tracks to the other side of the equation and becoming sellers next time around and driving the prices down....that could be a nice buying opp. for us small fish.

My goals are wild and vicious volatility and price swings....so no, you're are mistaken....I wish for the Comex to stay intact and for the games to be played a bit longer.

Who has trouble with comprehension? Where when I was addressing you did I mention you wanted to see default? Try again...

The rest is in your head! There is no sign that anyone on the long side is doing anything that is not entirely normal. There is nothing yet that stands out about the publicly available and reliable info. I mean nice theory but?

If we do get wild volatility the market will be subdued after for a reasonable time, that is the historic pattern in silver, it actually scares money away so be careful what you wish for, it could lead to a very flat year or so.

The Comex 'game' allows the market to function... people really need to understand that is risk control is removed then premiums would be through the roof, so much so small investors would be left high and dry and only industrial users would be able to justify the expense. No Comex and the dealers will kill you on the spread. The lack of risk control would flow down the chain in price... so again I say to those on this thread thinking that the comex is just a meaningless game.... think again.

LOL... this from the guy that needlessly started chucking crap.

Lets make this plain...

You have nothing but a notion that you have not backed in anyway. I understand what you are saying but there is nothing to talk about... it is just an unsupportable idea. There is no evidence of stress, everything looks normal so what are you wanting to carry on about?

Seriously... and you carry on about comprehension???? You yourself admit you are building no case so what is it you actually think we should credit here? A notion?

Again.... I have given you a number of reasons this is business as usual... you are the one on the attack, so you are surprised you get a little push back? You on the other hand have given nothing but a notion and what????? NOTHING!

You silly goose, I am long copper... why would I attack copper investors, it makes sense at this point in time to invest in a prudent way. Ramping and lying idiots on the other hand get challenged, just because the bull**** is on my side of the market doesn't mean it is not bull****.
