What is your favorite 90%. Mine is the half dollar walking liberty, the mini-me to the ASE. Second would be the Peace Dollar. Ok, maybe they are tied. Can't decide

Worst: Probably the Franklin half dollars. Sorry Ben, that hairstyle is the worst.

also going with walking liberty half (the original...does that make the ASE the mini-me of a larger size?)...hmmm, I resemble that remark about the hairstyle...at least I save on shampoo and still get the kid's haircut price...haha

Too many nice ones to have a favorite. I like them all. I'd be happy to rid you of any of those ugly Franklins you might have layoing around.

Im partial to the bust halves but given their nusmiatic value I only own a few low grade one I was able to pick up for slighty double spot over the years, the Franklin proofs are some awesome coins.

i like the franklins and the mercs. the franklins for the backside - the mercs for potential barter pieces

worst = washington quarters

I don't consider silver dollars to be "junk silver" although they are 90%, they are in a different category.

I'm optimistic that someday 90% will be sold by weight, so I favor 1964 Kennedy halves, which run heavy. The downside is confusion with post 1964 Kennedies being 40% silver.

The easiest to sell, WL halves win hands down. They are a "poor man's silver dollar". Sell them first because they're thin. People who have never bought 90% will buy WL halves first because silver dollars have too much of a premium.

Mercury dimes share some of the qualities of WL halves, too.

Roosevelt dimes and Washington quarters look like modern clad coins.

I bought my 90% in 2003-2004 and have plenty of it. I sold a bunch, too. I wish all my 90% was in halves because they are easier to sell to individuals. There is nothing wrong with Franklins.
Imagine meeting an individual who wants to buy your 90% dimes, $250 face of them. It takes a looong time to count 2500 dimes.

Franklins all the way, no need to date check,usually full weight, nice hefty coin, I admire the man, I'm beginning to look like him, and he was an old fat guy dedicated to getting laid.:2:

Exactly what I was thinking . . . And boy he got laid a lot, at least he had a lot of children. . . . I can do without that part - no vascectomies in the 18th century.

Well, they had 'em, but generally as a side effect to duelling... ;)

My favs are the ones that weigh in at the highest % of original weight. In my very limited experience, that's Kennedy Halves and Peace Dollars. I also love the Franklins.
