A major dealer just offered me a swap WITHOUT specifying how many Saints I would get> MS 64'S.
I'm thinking with the premiums so low for the pre 33 gold it might make sense to swap and establish a modest position in gold as it has underperformed in recent years.
It seems the over/under might be 14?
Any thoughts?

Swapping some silver for gold at this point sounds good to me. Might do it myself.

I'd prefer gold with less premium.

hmm...

I'd very strongly stick with the silver personally.

Silver is out-performing and for all reasons probably already know. There no indication that this won't continue.

I would for MS-65 PCGS's not 64's and as close to spot as you can the better - the 65's are where $ is made when stocks are doing better... In a few years when everything get, "Better" I will be on the prowl for any and every MS65 Saint as close to spot as possible.......................................... .......

Thanks for the helpful posts as I always try to keep an open mind even though many of us have made small fortunes with ag.
Contrarian thinking indicates that au AT SOME POINT has to start performing as ag has.
Today, again, 3/1 silver outperforming gold and gold is on all the networks.

If you have less then 100 ounces of gold - swap for
the 1/10 th gold coins and pay a SMALL premium.

You'll be glad to have the smaller coins down the road -

I agree with HS....it is a good time to work the GSR but keep premiums in mind. Saints carry a fairly significant premium for slightly under a full oz of actual Au. If you are going to have to absorb the premium at least get some utility for it like you would with 1/2 or 1/4 oz. or even 1/10 GAEs. Fractionals provide the holder with with options, much like 90% Ag.

NO WAY I'd trade without that number!
