Yup, mine changed to "in stock and reserved" also. When does the "on hold" thing go away??

Here's something scary to think about.......look at the time of your order.
Does it say 12:30 (or whatever time) and A.M. or P.M. ? My order was entered at 12:15 P.M. on 4/28, yet the Order Date/Time says A.M. :huh? The link wasn't even active until 12:00 P.M.

My guess is that by the end of this week they will remove the one per household limit. Once this is removed and if you wish to purchase more than one coin they will combine shipping.
just a thought

I'm actually hope that there is no sellout, and on Thursday (1 week from the original issue date) the Mint will release the "1 per household llimit" so I and others can purchase additional coins, that will for sure bring on sell out! Let's see what the Mint will do.
As per the Mint's own statement.
"Ordering Limits:
A limit of one (1) coin per household is in effect for the first week of this product’s release. At the end of this period, the United States Mint will re-evaluate this limit and either extend, adjust or remove it."
My second order is already sitting there as a backorder on the same account, in case you guys decide to cancel yours....

They cancelled my 2nd order. Don't know if it was because I already had one or they ran out...

Has anyone seen or heard that the limit of 1 per houshold has been lifted by the Mint? I'm in for another.

Just got mine delivered from FEDEX.
Took out the "bullion" Hot Spring and compared it to the "Collector's" version, which is listed as "uncirculated' (not proof).
The difference: A "P" on the side of Washington's Head.
This is a bit silly I think.

I put in an order for a second one today. Took my order and is now on hold. Says reserved but of course on hold. They may kick the order but maybe will be first in line if they pull the 1 per household limit.

I spoke with a Customer Service Rep at the US Mint this afternoon, he said that they would not know until Monday if the 1 per household limit will be removed.

What I'd like to know is why does the Mint ship by UPS and not the USPS? They cannot deliver my order to my address so I have to go to the UPS depot to pickup. She said "bring a government picture ID with you".

Looks like the 2nd one (Yellowstone) goes on sale Tuesday the 17th at noon. Does anyone have an order link yet? I just see it on the product list. My Hot Springs came today. Pretty nice! I'm still waiitng for my 2010 bullion set from apmex so I can compare the two finishes.

The difference IMHO is a "P" on the obverse.
They are essentially the same., though I too will be buying a "P" Yellowstone.
Got my coin. Looks pretty clean except for one tiny imperfection. May be just sitting on top.

Did the tracking info work for everyone that ordered the "p" puck. I received the tracking info last Friday. As of today there are no changes, still stated that a label has been created, nothing else.

Now, tracking number is on the UPS site, but no progress. I expect it will be updated in the morning. Keep checking. Did you get a shipping email from the Mint? I got one tonight with the tracking number.

Yellowstone to go on sale 5/17/2011 - the Mint's "Product Schedule" has been updated.

Yellowstone 5 Ounce Next in Line
And then there were two.
With less than 1,000 5-ounce silver 2010 America the Beautiful uncirculated collector coins honoring Hot Springs National Park left for sale, the U.S. Mint announced May 4 that the uncirculated collector version of the 2010 Yellowstone National Park 5-ounce silver coin would go on sale May 17.
It is being sold directly by the U.S. Mint at a price of $279.95. That’s the same price it charged for the 2010 Hot Springs uncirculated 5-ounce coin that went on sale April 28.
That price could change, however, as the market price of silver fluctuates, said Mint Director of Public Affairs Tom Jurkowsky.
The five 2010 America the Beautiful 5-ounce numismatic coins each has a mintage of 27,000. They contain the same .999 fine silver as the bullion version but also have a “P” mintmark and vapor-blasted finish, similar to that on the Mint’s 3-inch bronze medals.
At the close of business May 3, the Mint had sold 26,133 of the 27,000 Hot Springs National Park 5-ounce coins.
Sales started off with a bang April 28 with a total 20,426 coins sold – 16,210 sales made on the website and 4,216 by phone.
The surge of business on the Web cause the Mint’s site to be down for 45 minutes April 28, Jurkowsky said. Once the system was rebooted, sales resumed without any further downtime.
Jurkowsky said the Mint is aware that its online ordering management system needs to be upgraded, but the project is not expected to be completed until mid-2012.
The Mint is staggering the release of the 2010 uncirculated collector coins.
That’s probably a good thing, said John Maben, owner of Modern Coin Mart, the online division of John Maben Rare Coins.
“If they were released all at once it would be hard for the market to handle,” he said.
Maben ventured that some of the coins are already showing up on eBay with asking prices of $500 or more. His advice to collectors is to wait three or four weeks until the supply of coins increases.
“I think these coins will settle into a 10 to 30 percent premium over what the Mint sold them for,” Maben said. “That would be a fair premium to pay for the coin on a retail basis.”

So let's look at this a bit closer.....
It's been about 12 days since the release of the first limited edition "p" puck. And there are still about 900 left unpurchased out of a possible 27,000. Next year, 2011 there will be 165,000 available. Somehow I don't think that 2010 is going to be the "key" to the series.
I'm in for the whole series as a collector so it doesn't matter to me which year is the key. Hopefully in 2011 these will go on subscription and not require a signature on delivery. It's rather ludicrous that this $280 item requires a signature on delivery, yet gold issues are sent in an unmarked package with the regular mail.
Time will tell if I'm right or wrong, but I'm betting that hype is selling the 2010's, not true collector desire.

Agree, 2010 will be key. I'm just using these coins as a way to add to my bullion stack, and I would consider it a bonus if there is some premium if I sell way down the road. They are nice!

That article said 867 left after 6 sale days. For sight unseen and the economy the way it is and the twice in a lifetime rise in silver the way it sits and the $100 premium, I think it's pretty good.

Except he said that it would NOT be key...?
