My shipment of all 5 of the 2011's arrives tomorrow. I think I'll refuse to answer the door and sign for these. I wouldn't want to look at these big uglies and ruin my whole weekend.

I bought a bunch of these to cherry pick thinking i would send the rest back for cheap :banghead: $30 later i think this is the last time i ever return coins unless of a major problem.
I could probably get the shipping refunded but it would be a major hassle and the mint does not guarantee sp70 coins and the coins did not have any problems they just where
not perfect gem sp70.

Boy, am I stupid? First off, I lost my mind and opened the door to receive my package of the 5 P pucks for 2011. Then, I was dumb enough to open the box and look at them.
Let me tell you "I am extremely disappointed". I was hoping to see some fatal flaws so I could have a reason to send them back. But nooooo......they actually look good.
Damn it! Now, I have to keep them. Just my horrible luck.

I ordered Chickasaw-P almost two weeks ago and they are still listed as "In stock and reserved".
I called customer service yesterday concerned that I would get someone else's rejects. The CSR assured me that I would get "new" and that returned coins were not placed back into the sales stream but returned somewhere (Philly?).
Can anyone confirm (or refute) that customer returned coins are not resold?

I don't know of anyway that we can refute what the CSR told you. I think that such a comment might have been made when the 25th Anniv ASE set went sold out and still the mint was taking orders. But who knows.

I remember reading somewhere, and can't say if true or not, that returns are examined and, if in poor condition destroyed, but in good condition, can be resold. That being said, my guess is the price point on Chickasaw being the lowest yet, probably not many returns and odds are you will get a new one.

Kicking myself a little for not keeping up on the 2011-P coins after the 2010 fiasco.. Maybe I should try and flip/trade one of the 5 2010 bullion sets for some of the 2011-P's...

Just got in at the last minute, grabbed them the day before.
Well piss on me. I was saving up to buy the complete set in march.
I just picked up 3 Olympic park P's graded PCGS FS 69 for $200 a pop.

I think the US Mint is going to POP these up from $205 to around $255 or higher real quick.
They must have got the word that silver is really going up because they are dragging their feet
on the so-called new pricing on the web.
A word to the wise jump over to MCM and grab one or more at $229 before they go up $100
more. ~ HS
I did.
They got the new Chickshaws too in "P" I ordered them. Give them a call.
Tell them HISTORY STUDENT sent ya and with that and three bucks you can get a cup of coffee.

If the price crash continues, they will have a hard job moving them, at a higher price.

In ROME around the THIRD CENTURY A.D. After Christ they had 100 point swings in the only markets they had the COMMODITY
markets.
That's because at that time they had DELUDED their COIN money to only 1% silver and 1% gold. Call it inflation.
That's why we have these terrible swings today - our fiat money is only worth 1% what it was worth in 1912.
Soon gold will have $100 $200 $300 $400 swings PER day!
Also we have month end closings and delivery. And we have 800 TRILLION in derivatives to swing prices.
After March 3rd: "BEWARE of the IDES of March," ~ HS
Remember that the power to print should not be taken lightly - :hahaha: to survive they must go :bird: bad and that will drive you CRAZY.
Chart it out and BUY low.

I got mine delivered yesterday. Was kicking myself for opening the box, but then thought, this is a set I'd like to complete, and keep. I've said I'm going to give up the sets, but can't bring myself to do it.
They're just really cool coins.

Been to most of them in the last few (3) years - YOU are so RIGHT.
I've said it many times but one should beg, borrow, buy, or steal the 5 ounce's "P" on the 2011s.
My group of Vicksberg & Chicksaw "P"s were delivered tonight.
These PUPPIES will be better then the UHRs (you-know-who) told you about in 2009.
Figure these are HIDING 5 oz'er bars NUMISMATICALLY speaking at about a grand or two grand each each in two years.
BUY cheap NOW - boys and girls - buy cheap now....
Try MCM and get the puppies slabbed - SP69s are great long term....
$230 ish each....
Who LOVES YA? :broken_heart::love30: Boys and Girls...?
I'm like Rodney Dangerfield.... stacking these puppies...
