Definitely a classic. My only gripe is that it's a bit too conspiratorial. Still well worth the read, though.
You can get it from Midas resources for $41.00 and they send you a silver dollar. That's paying around $10.00 for the book.

It's only a conspiracy, until it's true....

Yeah, they all thought the rumors were just silly "conspiracy theories" right up until the moment the big man uttered the words,
"Et tu, Brute?"

"The Creature from Jekyll Island" is a must read book.
It takes me little longer to read these thick books, but well worth it.
Also on the list of must reads is "The Biggest Con" by Irwin Schiff
You know his sons Peter & Andy.
It was written in 1974 but still is very relevant today.
It's about the US Lying to us on the dept number & the biggest
ponzi-scheme Social Security.

i'm almost finished reading it. it's a great book. i avoided it for years because of the title - thinking it was only about the formation of the fed
another must read is eustace mullins' book "the secrets of the federal reserve". wasn't his book the one that blew the cover off the thing? mullins' has more good books too.
interesting to read the reviews of the book at amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Secrets-Federal-Reserve-Eustace-Mullins/dp/0965649210
My only gripe is that it's a bit too conspiratorial.

Punta Cana Is the best vacation spot ever. I question the sanity of reading in the Dominican during your honeymoon though.

I was traveling around the country for a wedding and some vacation time to visit friends and family reading it during idle time at the airport and on the airplane. I haven't finished it or even picked it up since then. My plan is to use my next travel time to get through the rest of it. Unless some how I find some time before then but that is unlikely.
Nice picture.

G. Edward Griffin himself explains how to skim the book. At the beginning of each chapter, he briefly tells us the key points he will cover in the chapter. And, at the ending of each chapter he summarizes the contents of the chapter. Thus, if you read the beginning and ending of each chapter, you'll have a really good idea what his book is about. Then, time and interest permitting, you can fill in the details of the story by actually reading his book between the chapter covers.

Can't push this book enough. Read it twice now. I suggest reading the book in its entirety. I find if you cheat and skim, you generally don't end up reading the book later. This book is a must, cover to cover. If you're gonna buy it, read it........
