I bought another one of these this week. The coin is 2.5 ounces, I think I got a steal at $3,700. I now have 3 of these coins.

Thanks for posting the picture. At one time these were getting a big premium, saw one sell on the Bay last year for $5,000. For some reason you can buy them for around spot now days. I think they are a pretty cool coin.

I've never heard of that one before. I have this one that I got through an auction a few years ago...the silver eagles coin looks like the older brother (1969) to the Humbert.

Too bad the $100 Union gold coin never materialized, that would've been a spectacular coin!

IIRC, Scratchmo did the engraving of the dies. He was around in the GIM1 days. Not sure if he is still here.

Lol.... The name goes back a ways. I was needing a forum name and had a pet parrot and a dog... Birddog... I do herding breeds, Moriah is a Shiloh shepherd....
