I vote for Ron Paul. However, who I want to win the nomination and who the big money will back for the nomination are two different stories. I think those in the media will marginalize Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann which leaves Mitt Romney and Rick Perry. I think the Republicans can sell Rick Perry to the public better than they can sell Mitt Romney so I am afraid the Republican establishment and big money will back Rick Perry and he will get the nomination. We, the People, will get more big government, more out of control spending and more wars against people who haven't attacked us. The war machine will march on.... who will stop it?

Go Ron Paul!!

We don't need thier big money brother. We are doing just fine. The other candidates are wasteful with their campaign money just as their are with our tax dollars. Ron Paul is effiecient with his campaign funds. We are winning!

I am not a Michelle Bachman fan I think she is a neo-con and made a trip to Israel for donations. But the question in the Fox Debate was underhanded and shameful as was the photo that is floating around of her eating a sausage at the state fair. They were both uncalled for. Also the results of the Iowa Ames Straw Poll if you look at the numbers were off by 218 votes. Where did they go?(each voter had to present an iowa drivers license and a voter registration card and when voting dip their finger in purple indelable ink.) I am not whining as I think he did better by coming in second place with questions about the total as if he had came in first they would have discredited him more in the press. Just my take.

Romney is now being investigated by two contributor corporations that gave 1 million dollars each then folded. They were shill corporations for the purpose of donating money and obama administration is on top of it. You will see more down the road so you can narrow your choice to 3.

i voted Perry.

But, I will vote Ron paul in my state's republican primaries. just like i did last time.

Ron Paul would be my fiest choice, but I know he will not get the nomination. too many forces stacked against him.

Bachman can't win vs Obama, and I really don't like Romney.

I will vote for any one of those, however, in the general election against Obama (as if republicans are really different than democrats).

This needs to be a public poll, so we can add to the Wall of Shame the names of those who voted for Prick Perry.

If anyone other than Ron Paul is the Republican candidate (beside Gary Johnson but he has even less of a chance than Paul) then I'll be voting for a third party.

Ron Paul is the only option for anybody who wants to see America given back to the people.

There isn't a close 2nd.

Ron Paul is the only one who will restore the Republic.

I agree. Paul was never able to run as an Independent / Libertarian against the Republican party. They and the Dems have a lock on the entire circle jerk.

Take note when it gets down to Perry, Bachmann, and Paul. I think Perry and Bachmann will turn on each other like jackels, (or she'll get submissive and opt to be his VP) but there's nowhere to go negatively with Paul. To the best of my knowledge, he's never taken a dime, never voted against his conscience, and no one to date has ever won a debate against him. He's intelligent, has a good understanding of economics, excellent forieign policy knowledge, knows his history and the constitution.

He's a low-key kind of guy, unassuming and polite. but I've watched him in confrontations. You better know what you're talking about if you want to challenge him.

I particularly like his idea that we should stay out of other countries' business, and mind our own.

Been waiting a long time for this. Once again, I hope I'm not being delusional. I can only hope that everybody from left to right is sick and tired of this tedious and boring, dog and pony show called elections.

It's Aug 2011, and we have to endure this bull$hit for another f'ing year. Keep in mind that no politicians are doing their job while this goes on. <sigh>

Joseph

I live too far north to be allowed to vote of any Republician or Demo., but I certainly wish that my Southern Neighbour had Ron Paul @ the helm, forget the last 3 presidents!

It's going to come down to - Who do you want to vote for Scum1 or Scum2? Just like last time. I'll write in Ron Paul.
Probably not going to help but that's what I'm going to do anyway.

WTF? It is an online poll, completely non-binding and you still don't vote your conscience?

I will never understand how people make up their mainds to vote... defies all logic.

Ron Paul is my only choice.

If the GOP nominates antone else they will not have our votes... they will lose the election to Obama.

I'm voting for lhslancers, his devotion to liberty at GIM has earned him a slow grinding climb up to moderator status, if he's willing to put in the same effort for the greater good, I'm with him 110% !

Hey thats a great idea started my wheels turning. We have plenty of time we could start a campaign that if he is not elected as the republican candidate we can vote for him as a write in in the general election. He has enough support to win that way. Wouldn't that just frost their cake. check out this link: http://www.topix.com/issue/fox/gop-debate-aug11
