To the Mods: Why was Not Sure banned?

Hello Mods,
Can you fill us in as to why Not Sure was recently banned?

I don't recall seeing a thread where the plug was pulled on him. Sure he had some strong opinions, but many of his posts were informative and well-thought.

I count it as an unfortunate loss to GIM2.

They had a reason posted, and its just temporary if I remember right, so he'll probably be back soon.

i was banned once for making a post that I didn't mean to be racist, but i guess they thought it was so i was suspended for a week. I somehow survived being not able to post for a week though

I think they said it had been building up to the level of a ban for some time. He is a little rough around the edges. Hopefully he'll be back.

The irony or hoarder saying someone is a bit 'rough around the edges' is just too much ;). All kidding aside I hope Not Sure comes back as he had a point of view all his own sometimes. In a nutshell he was essentially banned for his black and white views on just about everything that translated into a number of less than friendly posts. It's one thing to be brutally honest, sarcastic, or a mixture of both, but many of his post's were simply caustic at best.

...Just to be clear I enjoy some of your posts too hoarder even if I don't agree with half of them :p.

No,NotSure was banned for baiting folks by Scorp.It was for for 30 days.I think time is about up.

I tried to start a thread about NotSure, but that was quickly waxed.He/She is an intellgent,edgy, somtimes angry person.

I keep asking for what his/her day job is but no reply.It asked me for mine and I gave it. Hmmmm....

we have a policy of not talking about people who aren't here to defend themselves,

that is why one thread got axed, and why this one is being moved.

Thanks for not deleting this thread and explaining why it's still here. I read a number of boards from time to time and it's refreshing that people are typically allowed so much freedom here.
