I cannot upload any type of photo. Adhered to specifications, 120x120 pixels, nothing happens. If I go smaller, you may not see it. Any experts in this area? Any and all information is most welcome. Thank you very much.

I was able to load one for you... temporary that is... :s13: 80X 120 Pixel entered in custom avatar. Retrieved photo from picture folder, not internet. Uploaded, and (browser) search box goes blank. That simple.

click on your name. (could be right click?)

choose 'view profile'

see that little pencil icon to the left of your name?

click that.

scroll down to 'edit avatar' and click on it

choose a file from your computer and follow prompts.

This pic is 319K and it happens to be a PNG, but JPG should also work.

See if that process is successful...

I do it differently, I go to forum actions up there ^ on the small toolbar and click general settings and the edit avatar on the left sidebar. Then custom avatar box and browse.

I saw furball talking about the pencil thingy too a while back but never tried it.

See if that process is successful... Hi, I've been a radio technician for nearly forty years, and this appears to be really strange. I've been working on the issue for two days, on and off. I've followed the process the same way, each and every time, to no avail. You have basically given me the same information, in which I have been aware of. However, this time the avatar loaded, but not prior, for at least twenty or more times prior. It does not stand to reason how the avatar loaded at this time, especially after asking for assistance. For someone else, such as you to perform these steps, with my account, could possibly compromise other settings. Not saying this is the case here, but I find this aspect somewhat detrimental, as to keep the quality of the account undiminished. Anyways, I thank you for your assistance, and if you could, can you expand further on the aforesaid issues, and concerns, in which I have stated. Thank you.

It surely appears that accounts are monitored closely, I'm sure data banks are logged, and it is quite clear that accounts are easily compromised here.
