Nothing unusual, they always pre-sale. Minting for the 2012's has probably started and the Authorized Purchasers are getting their orders in. If spot stays low Jan. could be a huge month for sales.

They were selling some of these coins before they had received shipment also. I just looked and all these are now in stock:

I guess the US Mint is just slower getting their new coins to market. Or maybe they don't actually strike 2012 coins until January 1st???

At any rate, They are just letting you get your order in early. That's good if the price later rises, bad if it later falls.
