View Full Version : When did ebay start carrying gun stuff again?
There is a thread on my shooting site saying something about ebay carrying gun accessories again so I went to check and sure enough. I didn't see any actions or complete guns but there were sights, barrels, mags, stocks, triggers, scopes, pretty much everything else.
Last I heard years ago, ebay had gotten all politically correct and wouldn't have anything to do with gun stuff any more. How long has that been changed?

If there is a buck to be made, that will eventually trump political correctness.

In all seriousness, make sure the parts are factory originals and not cheap Chinese knockoffs. ESPECIALLY on eBay.
A few months ago I tried to sell a stock and forend I had off an AK. The listing stayed up till the last day and then got yanked by e-bay due to being "parts for an assault rifle".

They probably have a keyword search, maybe you could have come up with some listing term to skip around it.

I have been buying Scopes...Magazines....parts kits......flash hiders...barrels....trigger parts/assemblys.....etc for years on ebay.........i have noticed in the past some high capacity magazines being censored but people were getting around it by selling magazine
parts or kits (specificly calico 100rnd mags)
bought a lot of AR/1911/10-22 parts and accessories over the years

For sale: 50 miniature lead statues manufactured in 1911, each are .45 inches wide with a beautiful brass base so they can stand upright and be displayed in an attractive manner. . . .
Also available are precision, all steel storage cases that hold 8 miniature lead statues each, protecting them from the elements.

While everything is tracked these days, be careful what you deal in on ebay. It's all easily tracked.
