Many here will be happy to help you. Throw out your questions and they will respond.
check out www.coinflation.com if you haven't already.
My advice stay away from slabbed coins and numismatics initially.

New guy hear to learn
ok, so let's start the learning process with a spelling correction, as we all claim fame when it comes to spelling :0)
'hear to learn' = 'here to learn'
...........

step one: install firefox
step two: enable spell check
step three: you, and only you can prevent the bears from getting the picnic baskets
(ouch, bear fighting is a game of thousandths. Another few of those and his shirt would be torn)

Remember two things, the only stupid questions are the ones you dont ask, and every one are my superiors in that I may learn from them. Oh, and one more thing, watch out for the grammar police.

Wow, Thank all for responses. Seems like a cool place so far. I might as well throw my first question out, and that is what is "melt price" of silver? I see how it pertains to scrap jewelry, grandmas teeth, etc, but how to coins. They cant be melted just for metals... correct? Thanks again from windy treasure coast of Fla.
