Smaller than my Walther PPK/S and only a bit over a pound loaded. I haven't had a chance to shoot it, yet, but when I saw it in the gun store I had to have it, now. I never do that with a new model firearm, before the public has tested it and they work the bugs out at the factory. But, this one was different. The pics on this one are a bit different from the one I own. Mine has black G10 grips, instead of Walnut, but I couldn't find a pic of the one I bought. It has very nice little Sig Nite Sights and very nice stainless ambi-safety levers and slide release. Mag holds only 6 plus one in the pipe, but I like these little pocket sized powerhouses.

i'm partial to the s&w m&p line. I want the shield. However no compacts and subcompacts for us canadians :(

Nice looking piece, but the grip appears a bit short for my hand. Guess that comes with the territory of ultra-compact.

My wife uses a Colt Mustang (original version) and loves it. I think you will really like it.

I have the equinox version. Great gun, little recoil! And even having big hands, it feels great. Good choice!

Auracle: That is too bad you guys don't get to have subcompacts. It's nice to be able to hide a little one pound 9mm auto or 12 ounce 38+p revolver on you.

The small grips are something I've kind of gotten used to over the years. As I said, I really like those pocket powerhouses. Still, though, I do have some full sized guns that I love to shoot. Especially Hi-Powers.

CD120: You've got one of these little guys and you've shot it? How is it for reliability? Any FTF's or FTE's? Any ammo it seems to like? I'm really looking forward to getting to the range with it. Checked Sig's web-site and they don't have any recoil springs or extra mags for sale, yet. I've read on the web that we'll be needing to change out the recoil springs on a pretty regular basis. Something like 500 rounds. But, r-springs should be pretty cheap. It's like $12.00 for a recoil/firing pin spring package for my P238.

100% Reliable. I fed it some old Winchester Silvertips I had lying around and some older FMJ rounds (think they were magtech brand)

I did buy but have not tried another JHP (forget the exact brand and I'm at work) which I have not tried.

I have not heard about needing to swap out the recoil spring. And one of my distributors does sell the Sig mags (a few months ago they were in stock as well). I have also heard that Colt Mustang mags work just fine.

Hi CD120,
Thanks. But, I'm thinking you have the P238, not the P938, which is a 9mm, if Colt Mustang mags will work in it.

Cheers!
