The latest and greatest. Or,old and new,he had two old Engelhards on the bottom of the shelf-still my favorites and cheaper than the Academy stackables.

Granted there is one topic I couldn't disagree with you more on 917 (although I'm hoping you see the light eventually), however I'm truly thankful for all the silver pr0n pics you've been posting of late . By all means please keep sharing !

Call me old fashioned, but I really like that someone thought to put "In God We Trust" on those stacker bars.

why does this thread say Academy when those are Scottsdale? Does Academy produce for Scottsdale?

Academy makes the bars for others, the back, recessed side says "made by Academy ISO certified blah,blah..." and in the stack ,not shown one bar says Academy, one says APMEX. I just took the picture of Scottsdale as it has a nice lions head with crown. The interesting part is they are CNC milled to shape, not cast like some other generic stackable brands. Not only nice looking, but for metal men the fine machining appreciated.

I guess I am just an "armchair" stacker but I sure would like to get me some of those Academy stackers.

My mouth started watering when I saw them. Thanks for all the silver pr0n the last few days 917601.

I'd snatch up those ebars in a NY minute, the ebay rubes pay 5.00 over at least

Better snatch them up ASAP, Academy acquired by Materion and they said in 2010 they will no longer manufacture these 10 oz silver stackables. No reason given, however those speculating sited the reason being manufacturing costs high, CNC machined then mirror polished. Materion not a bullion company, they seem to deal in exotic manufacturing processes.

I guess so! They have a bunch of interesting and diverse divisions.

The Academy hand poured bars were my favorite, Materion continued to make them but I don't see them listed for sale on Scottsdales website anymore.
