Big Question ?
What percentage of the people in this country would it take to Shock the cash withdrawal system of the banking industry ?
If all of these people gave their bank 60 days notice they wanted all their money in cash ? All on the same day of the same
month! :bear_unsure:

I have sort of prepared for this myself, by paying bills ahead of time. In one county where I own property, I pay the property taxes one year ahead of time. They call it "payment of estimated tax". I figure out the amount sent in, by what I payed the year before. The county treasurer then sends me a reciept. The cancelled check and reciept are my proof that I paid the tax.
I also do this for a contract for deed payment for some farmland I am paying on. Pay the payment one year ahead of time. Cancelled check is reciept.
By paying ahead of time, the "liability" is already paid. If a bank holiday or limit of withdrawal occurs, I do not have to sweat it for the time being. If I keep the money in the bank, it earns less than 1% interest and I would probably spend it on something else anyway.

You probably know this, but on a Contract For Deed if the deed holder goes bankrupt or does any other funny business, you've got nothing. that is something to pay off as quick as possible. I know people that got caught up in that on some land deals when the 'developer' went bankrupt.

That could happen, but this contract for deed is a solid deal. That is another benefit of paying it off early is getting title to it. The family that it was bought from were frugal Norwegians, I do not think they would do anything risky. I was able to purchase this land for 4% interest on the contract for deed, too.

Iv'e always felt everyone is entitled to their own opinion regardless of it being right, wrong or indifferent, freedom of speech is what I gave years of my life defending.
Absolutely.
And WITH that entitlement goes the corollary: You can be shown for the ass you make of yourself.
I bolded the gratuitous "assitudes". Exactly the same points could have been made without multiple, serial derogations of the OP.
Right, southfork?:flute:

Walt, you are smart enough not to compare a bank to a commodity storage facility, are you not? There's a lot of difference between a business that rents you physical space to store your perishable beer and a bank that can accept your paycheck electronically and then give you your paycheck back in $2 bills.
:hahaha:Nope.
I am, however, smart enough (barely) to give you and whoever else read that post a fair comparison of a thieving beer storage outfit and the thieving bankster's lucrative setup. :s11:
Are you smart enough (fair question to you... you axed fust :flute:) to see the similarity?
Are you smart enough to be aware of how banksters manipulate and steal your money?

Some things are best left unsaid, we all know there are some here who know more than everyone else, and if you doubt it ask them and they will refresh your memory.
Some times its like drilling concrete with a wood bit.

Gotcha. Good point.
Have had no problems with my bank getting cash for PM purchases.
Never have taken more than 9.5K in one day because it's my money and I don't feel that I need to justify my reasons to the government. But I have taken large sums in back-to-back days. Never had any problems with either of the two banks not having cash without prior notice. (two large national chains)

Local bank, wanted to withdrawl 8k for final payment of wedding, teller told me maximum was 5k without prior notice, I requested to see the bank manager and told him most politely I would be cancelling my account if I did not leave with the 8k requested, they sucumbed and gave me the money.
So they actually had the money then? Not just a matter of cash flow!!!
Anyone who trusts the banks ...I have some shares of MFing Global to sell you!
