View Full Version : Comstock LODE being revitalized - Production Soon
Reality

A newly reorganized company has been consolidating the Comstock Lode properties in Nevada. As a junior gold and silver explorer attempting to return to production during the 2008-2010 period, they hit some bumps but it looks pretty certain that they will be starting production within the next 12 months.
Comstock Mining Company (trading symbol LODE), might be worth watching at a share price currently around $1.30, and with Moelis & Company as a strategic financial advisory partner. Ken Moelis (look him up) even took a personal investment in the company.
They've already cataloged 1.7 million gold equivalent ounces and Behre-Dolbear is converting those ounces to their 43-101 (an update is due soon). They have an easy goal of cataloging a total of 3.25 million ounces of gold equivalent (including much silver) within the next couple of years.
Here's a link to a recent presentation

They've had some convertible debt that is being restructured and some issues getting started, but they've got Ken Moelis and Company assisting with financing production and news is expected soon. The price is pretty cheap as this is still a little-known operation, and investors have been nervously awaiting news expected soon and that's kept the price down.
This one is definitely worth watching as a high-potential candidate for going into production within 12 months.
I'm not recommending anything, other than to just keep an eye on it.

By the way, they have plans to move to an appropriate exchange as soon as possible after funding and financing are completed and the time is right.

Comstock Mining (LODE) released its updated 43-101 today
"The total of 1,440,000 Measured, Indicated, and Inferred gold equivalent ounces is a 57% increase over the estimate reported in the Company's previous NI 43-101 technical report, published in May, 2010."
At $1257 gold, that's $1.81 billion in minerals
At a current share price of about $1.60, LODE has an unbelievably low market cap of just $31 million.

That is one scary looking chart over the past year. What else do you have to contribute?

That is one scary looking chart over the past year. What else do you have to contribute?
Comstock Mining (LODE) has spent the past year completely remaking itself from a debt-ridden, unfunded micro-junior gold and silver explorer with no 43-101, into a debt-free, funded-for-production company with a 43-101 containing 1.44 million gold-equivalent ounces (and growing).
Ken Moelis & Company has joined the team as a strategic financial advisory partner and helped reorganize the company and restructure the balance sheet.
The wait for news has been painful for investors, hence the chart of the past year and the current bargain prices. Debt elimination news and financing news is expected by the end of September, and production mining could start as early as March.
As an investor, I want to find gold and silver juniors poised on the short path to production, but still not yet rewarded by the market. LODE fits that bill nicely. Do you have some better undervalued recommendations poised for production in the next 6-12 months?

Sorry, it just seems you are pumping a stock. Four posts on one stock. We have seen it before.

LODE is up 55% since the first of September. Doing very well as production financing news is expected very soon with production starting next spring.

Comstock Mining (LODE) anticipates having production financing news any day now.
It's moved up over 70% since I first posted about it early last month. It's my favorite explorer soon-to-turn producer.

PS. I'm a very long-time GIM member from years ago. Haven't posted much on this new system yet. I don't give investing advice, just putting this Gold/Silver junior on your radar (as others here have put gold related investments on my radar here for years and years).

When I started this thread earlier this summer. LODE (Comstock Mining) was in the $1.20 - $1.30 range. Today it's in the $2.70 - $2.90 range.
Today, LODE announced major funding.

They now have $32 million in cash, are preparing for production in the spring, and have a short-term goal of reaching 3.25 million ounces on the 43-101 (currently have 1.44 million gold equivalent ounces)
Worth keeping an eye on.

I bought 400 shares about two weeks ago ... after reading Bob Moriarity's article about LODE on 321Gold. The last time I followed Bob's advice was about two years ago: The stock was Avion Gold, which has since gone up 400%. Like AVR, LODE was not one of Bob's advertisers. I wish I'd bought LODE when it was cheap. I hope its current price looks cheap in a year.
