truth be told, we try to leave people alone,

spamming or advertising on the site is not allowed, including by pm and so on.

you of course saw the main 3 rules,

where the arguments always ensue, is the interpretation of those rules,

one guy got the axe 'cause he would blanket the forums with nonsensical jibberish, which became a interpretation of spam. It became an issue for the membership as a whole.

personal attacks, it seems pretty clear but..........???? We try to cut some slack, but once it gets out of hand, we have no choice but to take action. We do realize emotions can run high on many subjects, and try hard to allow for that.

we have had others who constantly push a exo-agenda of one type or another, and eventually they fall on their sword. They typically parade around the forum, from one area to another blathering on and on about whatever their pet peeve is. Sooner or later, they frost enough of the membership where that gets covered in the spam thing and the commode gets flushed.

Anyway, that is just a few tidbits, but most people that show up here never have any issues, as they come and go as they choose.

I think I got banned for being a smart ass once. Not really sure.

I don't know if it necessarily means resort to the alternative ... at least, I don't know of anyone being banned for it.
