Sorry I didn't see this sooner. My computer broke and I have been using only my iPhone. Nice rifle, really nice. Don't worry about the charging handle, I have standard ones on all of my AR's and they work perfectly. Nice, well thought out and simple rifle. Now, get a quality weaponslight and sling on it and it will be perfect. Don't junk it up with a lot of bells and whistles and you will have an AR that will fulfill everything you need.

A lot of people like to add stuff to their rifles they don't really need, like visible lasers, funky grips, battery compartments everywhere, stash tubes for one extra round, and so on. Most of it is not ever needed, and just for cool guy factor. Carry your extra **** on your kit, not your rifle. Get a backup iron sight too, but spend your money mostly on ammo and training, not toys and you will do great. I always fondle my new AR's to death. I carry them in the bathroom with me, all over the house, sleep with them by my bed. Kind of like a high priced whore, you want her close when the urge takes over. Then when I am done she gets thrown in the closet and locked away with the rest of the whores and only comes out to play when I need her. But back on guns.... Great choice on components. I am sure you will get many a year of enjoyment out of it. :beer1:

IR lasers are LE and military only.. yet another unconstitutional, anti 2nd amendment law

There are adjustable-to-tight-beam IR illuminators that can get the job done, though

And just to get your blood pumping about this rifle, here are some of my toys ;)

Hello DM1975,
Could you tell please us more about the SBR versions? Particularly the last one. It looks like it is a 9mm or 22. Very intriguing.

Thanks

PM sent. I suggest that before you take the dive into class 3 that you research some of the wonderful resources on the web that are available to make sure you are in complete compliance with the law. AR15.com has excelent threads on SBRing rifles, as well as reported time lines from the ATF and help filling out all forms.
