What you think about Moss back with Minnesota?

I am a Giants fan, and vividly remember the 2001 NFC championship game where the Giants thrashed the Vikes 41-0.
Following that game, the curse of Randy Moss was spoken, "This team will never win a championship." 10 years later, he returns.
Only Moss can break the curse... but I think all hell will break loose in the process.
This will end in tears, if not worse, but at least the bad juju will be cleansed, and the Vikes can start a rebuilding program.

I love the Vikes. This is life as a Vikes fan....no matter what they have in their arsenal, they will get to the precipice and crumble. True under Dante. True under Brett. You have to be a masochist to be a Vikes fan.

I voted, "He's still an idiot." because there wasn't a choice for "he's an idiot until proven mature."
If it's still "all about Randy" they will lose and it will be a waste.
If he's not still a child looking for attention and has actually become a team player, he'll be an asset.
He's still the best natural athlete I've ever seen.

Yes, amazing athlete, and he still has gas in the tank. I actually think Moss matured a lot under Belicheat the Cave Troll. But Childress is not cut from the same cloth. The Drama Queens are already primping backstage. C'mon, Farve & Moss together? This IS all about EGO. Brett used up his storybook fairydust last season. This will be epic...

Hopefully Randy will come home and be more concerned about learning the system than which carat earring to wear on Sunday. If he stretches for the catches his stock will rise with all Vike fans.

As for us Giant fans, we accept our team will always be schizophrenic and every sunday there is a 50/50 chance of shooting ourselves in the foot, literally, and then being hauled off on gun charges.

Moss' abilities tie in very well with Farve's propensity to just heave it up there in the hopes that someone can catch it. I see big things for this duo. Of course, that could be the eternal hope springing yet again..... : )

He's there because he got in a fight with a coach. Anyone notice this fight occurred after a game in which Moss' string of receptions was broken. Sorry folks, he's all about Randy and joining All about Brett. Sit back and witness the train wreck.

When I was a kid, we were driving home from Up North on a Sunday afternoon, listening to the Vikes/Lions game on a Detroit AM station.
Not much has changed since then as one of the comments of the Detroit commentator was:
"Well, they're doin' it again."

Yeah they could also hook up for a good finish to both careers but I don't know... short lived if one steals the spotlight I think. Then there's the Brett crotch factor on the horizon... Trust me... steelers fan here, the QB antics can bring you down. Steelers were fortunate in going 3-1 without the QB during suspension, but that crap can be pretty destabilizing. They were just lucky to have some veteran backup. Good luck though, I've never been a Randy hater, I think the guy is a super talent, but his old self seems to come around at some point.

All true. Could be magic. Could be Brett will wish he had quit last year.

Wow, you really had the team that year. I'm not much of a fan, but I undestand that win would qualify you for the Super Bowl. How did that go?

Ravens smothered the G-men. It was ugly.
Speaking of smothered, Big Blue sat on the Texans today 34-10.

Moss is not going to cover for Bretts crappy throws.
When they bench Favre, Jackson to Moss will be epic.

Yep. Texans pass D is their biggest weakness currently. They made Eli look like an NFL quality QB.

That Randy guy really likes the spotlight. He'll have it tonight with a Monday night game in the Big Apple. Should be interesting.
Go Vikes!

I hope Minnesota is still playing for a playoff spot when they visit Detroit. I still believe the Lions are going to surprise some people this year - their D line is awesome and their secondary is coming along nicely. Once they get their starters back on offense - Stafford still out, Best still hurting (turf toe), Nate Burleson just got back, now Calvin Johnson screwed up his shoulder... but, even with all that - they are still in the top 10 offensively (points scored).
It would be so nice for Suh to put the hammer on Farve and send him out right - on a cart. Finish off his career with an exclamation point.

That last remark seems unlike you Strawboss.

That sounds very Detroit-ish... but I agree with you, they don't get the respect that they deserve this year, they are definitely better than their record shows.

Almost spat on keyboard, so true. Give Eli a break though, he is in top 10 QB's in most stats, and he really stands out where it counts - #2 in interceptions. The left hand duck he threw the other week was uglier than Nancy Pelosi. I love the dork, 'cause he's our dork, but he is still just such a dork.
Viking fans stay up past midnight to take delivery of another nicely wrapped package of agony.
