Default Re: The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America

    I'll readily admit to being thankful for the education and to the educators I had;
However there were aspects that seemed to stunt growth/knowlege rather than accelerate it.

    Some quotes from the foreward:
Mrs. Iserbyt has also documented the gradual transformation of our once academically
successful education system into one devoted to training children to become compliant
human resources to be used by government and industry for their own purposes.
This is how fascist-socialist societies train their children to become servants of their government masters.
The successful implementation of this new philosophy of education will spell the end of the
American dream of individual freedom and opportunity. The government will plan your life
for you, and unless you comply with government restrictions and regulations your ability to
pursue a career of your own choice will be severely limited.
What is so mind boggling is that all of this is being financed by the American people
themselves through their own taxes. In other words, the American people are underwriting
the destruction of their own freedom and way of life by lavishly financing through federal
grants the very social scientists who are undermining our national sovereignty and preparing
our children to become the dumbed-down vassals of the new world order. It reminds one of
how the Nazis charged their victims train fare to their own doom.
One of the interesting insights revealed by these documents is how the social engineers
use a deliberately created education “crisis” to move their agenda forward by offering radical
reforms that are sold to the public as fixing the crisis—which they never do.
This last sentence has been a modus operendi for various govornment and banking intrustions including the fed reserve act and even possibly the strengthening of the federal govt in the present constitution.

One reason that the "american people' have supported these things and statism through taxation is partly due to their (our) erroneous interpretations and religious indoctrinations of Romans 13 and like passages.

If we wish to stop this juggernaut toward a socialist-fascist system, then we must restore educational freedom to America. Americans forget that the present government education system started as a Prussian import in the 1840’s–’50’s. It was a system built on Hegel’s belief that the state was “God” walking on earth.
I was going to post this link in the birth certificate post, but it is applicable here also. I stumbled across the molinari website while searching for 'individualism' as an opposite of 'sociaism' and in reguard to the Freeborn uncompelled and uncoerced individual religious freedom status of Pennsylvanias constitution (and others).
    State Socialism and Anarchism
    AND Jesus the Individualist
This latter link has the author summarizing by depicting the 'remedy' through a yet future 'end times events'; to which eschatological perspective I disagree and which perspective I believe is actually a tool used in the 'dumbing down' of Americans and contributes to their voluntary enslavement through non resistence and assymilation to statism (a ministry). The end-times events were rather refering to the 'end' and judgement upon the mosaic covenant nation as prophesied in Deut 32; described further in Daniel, the prophets, Psalms, the Olivet and Revelation and fulfilled in 30-70 AD
Corporalism/Statism through conditional /performance obedience (called the 'old covenant') is judged as faulty in favor of individualism and an individually restored relationship with one's Creator having now come to earth and a Heart laid bare open (circumcised) in confident faith to that Creator.
The author of the latter link doesn't do a good job of inductive study of Romans 13 or of discussing exousia, but he does a good job of setting the context of writing as coming from while being imprisoned in Rome.

Back to the perspective of the author of your book:
I want them to know that there will always be hope for freedom if they follow in these
people’s footsteps; if they cherish the concept of “free will”; if they believe that human
beings are special, not animals, and that they have intellects, souls, and consciences. I
want them to know that if the government schools are allowed to teach children K–12 using
Pavlovian/Skinnerian animal training methods—which provide tangible rewards only for
correct answers—there can be no freedom.

And another quote from the book:
JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER, JR.’S DIRECTOR OF CHARITY FOR THE ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION, Frederick
    T. Gates, set up the Southern Education Board (SEB), which was later incorporated into the
General Education Board (GEB) in 1913, setting in motion “the deliberate dumbing down
of America.” The Country School of Tomorrow: Occasional Papers No. 1 (General Education
Board: New York, 1913) written by Frederick T. Gates contained a section entitled “A Vision
of the Remedy” in which he wrote the following:
Is there aught of remedy for this neglect of rural life? Let us, at least, yield ourselves to the
gratifications of a beautiful dream that there is. In our dream, we have limitless resources,
and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hand. The present
educational conventions fade from our minds; and, unhampered by tradition, we work our
own good will upon a grateful and responsive rural folk. We shall not try to make these
people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or of science. We are
not to raise up from among them authors, orators, poets, or men of letters. We shall not
search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians. Nor will we cherish even the humbler
ambition to raise up from among them lawyers, doctors, preachers, politicians, statesmen,
of whom we now have ample supply.
How interesting is the theme of indivdualism vs statism in these discussions of education AND that those differences shows up in article 1 of Pennsylvania's constitution??

sec 1 & 3 along with sec 25 (all within article 1) states strongly that Fed or State Govornment cannot compel it's ministry of corporal 'statism' on you/me as individuals (which they attempt to do through coercion) against ones conscience, freedom, religion, will or compell one to maintain its' ministry . Note the connection to the age of majority discussion and birth Certificate discussion.

Statism being a religion or a 'ministry' as evidenced (for example) by:
It was a system built on Hegel’s belief that the state was “God” walking on earth.
This is how some people read Romans 13.

Again; this link brings out some of the differences of the ideologies of Individualism vs state socialism; although I don't agree with every part; and some of the situations are dated. http://praxeology.net/BT-SSA.htm
And this may be the part of the classic render unto Caesar those who's lord is Caesar discussion.
