How to post youtube videos.

First. click on the SHARE link under the video in youtube.

Second. copy the link.

Third. reply to or begin a thread.

Fourth. click on the ladder icon above the advanced text box
(it looks exactly like the first one in the pic below).

Fifth. past the link you copied and click on 'OK'.

You'll also need to add 10 letters of text minimum.

Sixth. Post. That will show the video image instead of just a link.

That's not really a ladder icon. It's two frames of movie film. Those are sprocket holes on the sides.

I know, but sometimes one has to use the lowest
common denominator to get the message across.

The reason I say this is that the film strip has been
there since day one and folks continue to post links
instead of the video image. It's not rocket science...

The 'other way' to post it is to use HTML with brackets.
Like this [video] link [/video ] but remove the space
after the last bracket.

my problem is i don't operate a computer as do most . I'm slow at this confounded contraption and have had problems posting. as it appears my control over smiles & thanks have been altered and do not work and have not for some time. anyone else encountering that ?
