Big Lots

Big Lots is having a 20 percent off sale on all items this Saturday and Sunday. You have to go to their website and sign up for their buzz club which is free. Here in Michigan I shop there a lot for canned foods, bottled water, paper supplies and cleaning supplies. I often find good values for prep items. Happy shopping

Just got back after over a year abroad - went to the supermarket & was shocked at the real price inflation... A big sign advertizing the "deal" of 2 avocados for $5??? What happened while I was away? Sheesh!

I think they should rename Big Lots! to: Cheap Crap made in China!

Sorta like a perfumed up dollar store.

I never found anything worth purchasing in a Big Lots, must be a regional thing.

Right, you definitely have to be careful with food. But I bought cases of a good brand, Veg-All canned veggies for 59 cents a can, About half of the regular supermarket price. with 2+ years to go on the expiration.

You can find a lot of relatively exotic foods there, stuff imported from Europe, at bargain prices.

But stuff like trash bags, toilet paper, plastic storage containers, paper plates, cheapo "silverware", etc, Big Lots is a great place to shop.
