SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- An appeals court ruled on Monday that Rahm Emanuel has not met the residency requirement and threw him off of the ballot for mayor of Chicago, according to media reports. Emanuel, who resigned as President Barack Obama's chief of staff to run for mayor, is expected to appeal, the Chicago Sun-Times reported on its website

This is indeed surprising news. I expect the white house to get involved in this. The MSM will either ignore the 'fix' or sweep it under the carpet. Funny, but folks like Rahm (and I use the term 'folks' loosely), don't plead, they threaten. Something more like, "Do you really want to go down this road? You know my dad invented terrorism, right?"
