    Default Hallmark identification

Does anyone know of a good website that contains a comprehensive list of gold/silver hallmarks?

There are some like engelhard & JM which are commonly known, but it would be helpful to see what the identifying marks of the smaller or lesser known refiners are.

925-1000.com has a huge index of antique sterling hallmarks, there's a good chance that you can find what you are looking for there. They also have resources showing you different assay marks from different countries, so you can at least figure out what country the piece you are looking at is from. I'd start there.
