Hello from Massghanistan!

I'm a former "lurker" and finally decided to sign up. I like what I see here and am sure I'll learn quite a bit more than I have already. My interest isn't so much numismatic, but purely the collection of precious metals as a hedge to my paltry "wealth" if you can even call it that and hopefully to sustain my family in times of great need. Truth be told it's somewhat survivalist in nature as well, right alongside my collection of bullets. I started to really get interested in gold and silver just about the time that Obama took office three years ago and now wish I'd have started waaaaay sooner. Like many, I fear the dollar is soon to return to it's intrinsic value of $0.00 as it should since it really is as someone once said, "A finely printed piece of s**t paper". Anyways, I'm glad I'm here and I look forward to learning and exchanging knowledge with you all. As we say here in Massghanistan, "Have a good one!".
