Gold Duck, with all his madness, was a nice guy when you actually talked to him. He's not over at the other, mainly deserted board as far as I can see - it's been a long time? Anyone know him personally that could check on him?

I hear there's a clinic in the Midwest that specializes in smiley addiction, but I don't know if he's a patient there...

Sure wish he would share what he found recently I was busy and didn't catch all the details. I know he got some water/food barrels for a great price just not sure where. I need a rainbarrel.

I reached out and tried to help 3 diferent survivalist ladies got BURNED BAD 3 times cost me many thousands of $$ time ,effort and survival gear

I have tried to live my life idealisticly and discovered the hard way that the word LOVE does not have the same meaning and definition when other use it in reference to a DUCK.

Every body likes a DUCK but is much more than just an over used phrase/word and trusting that word is dangerous on many levels.

I am preped to the rafters LITTERLY -- been building new storage and green house to hold it all BUT with out some one to share it with, it loses its VALUE!

There are lots of pretenders and hustelers out there -- not nessaraly BAD people -- just trying to survive and get over the best they can -- any way they can and they all tend to take what comes easy.

I tend to give too much CREDIT and share too much, then discover too late that they use the word "LOVE" SOooooooooo much and so often the word has no meaning or what they mean is "LIKE" not "LOVE" and the effect is DEVISTATING and destructive when it becomes obvious.

It is hard to keep sharing when I feel SO EMPTY. It is hard to keep trying to survive and prepare when the reason for doing it is just not there.

I have GOLD and SILVER, land and and debt free,just about all the preps I can imagin nessary, just one thing I can not provide --- some one to LOVE and who loves ME!

I have been preping for over 31 years over half of my life and at this point I ask my self --- WHY??? I have no ANSWER only silence and the frustration of knowing -- SURVIVING is just not ENOUGH!

I am a FORLORN DUCK -- that is just the way "IT" is!

QWAK,AgAuGal,The blue 55 gal. water barrels @ $5.00 each I got at a place called "A to Z" they sell damaged freight and it is a huge asortment of ware house buildings selling every thing from food to tools even generators -- most of the stuff is from CHINA and stock from stores that have gone bust and liquidated there stock.

They always have the barrels and large cargo tanks and I asked how much they were and had to ask agen because they were so cheep!

I picked up 6 of the barrels they were empty SOCKY (sp) (rice wine) barrels and vinagar barrels, @$5.00 each!

I also picked up 4, 350 gal tanks used for bulk shipments of liquids -- they are aproximitly 4' x 4' and 5' high, for $25.00 each! I figure I can use them for my hydroponics or even to try rasing fish in them. There are SOooooooooo many posable uses that at $25.00 each I went back with my 5' x 10' trailor TWICE it almost seemed like I was STEELING!

The blue barrels are the same ones the survival places sell for $90.00+ shiping, just not brand new.

It would probably cost too much to ship the large tanks or the barrels but most likely there are similar places around most cities that sell damaged and salviged cargo!

QWAK,ttazzman,It is not about $$ or things -- I injoy sharing it is the FRUSTRATION that people want HELP to keep doing what they have been doing and DOES not work -- but they want help doing the SAME and can NOT change there mind so there LIFE and situation can change!

Some have done it all there lives and it IS there NORMAL and no mater how many times things go bad it is always some others fault!

It is sort of like how every one thinks they understand MONEY because they have used curency and charge cards all there life -- when you try to tell them they DON"T they tend to get defencive some times even angry.

The system has DISTORTED and DEBASED "normal" so normal does not exist any longer!

All I know is that if people can not pull at the same time and in the same direction they will pull apart! Some one or both usualy get hurt.

QWAK,AgAuGal,You may find thease storage containers usefull for your preps, I just ordered 10 my self as I found from experience that if not properly boxed and protected preps go bad and it waists TIME effort and $$$ so it is worth the FRNs to get good boxes.

BTW: I have 12 of the large double medical boxes and each will hold about 2 1/2 cases of TP nice and dry -- 6 are dedicated to that purpose! LOL When TSHTF I am ready --till then --it will never be cheeper than NOW and may be a LUXURY in the future!

Seems like those three survivalist women got the 'goldmine' and you got the 'shaft' ducky? Hope they didn't rip you off too much. One thing you can be sure of is that there's more where they came from. Get's back again to the comment/phrase; They got the goldmine and you got the shaft. Lots of us been there done that, many poorer but wiser.

Many goldbugs need to be reminded of this when they wish for the system to completely break. We need a functioning society to make life worth anything, working toward that end within the system is far nobler and harder than opting out. You will never change a system from the outside, the work must be done within in it. If you want an example look at what the Green movement has achieved!? As toxic as I think they are their approach has been very effective!

Be careful what you are wishing for here, surviving is indeed "just not enough"....
