I'm just trying to figure out if something went awry with my computer or not. Every time I come to the site, I have to log back in whereas before a few days ago I stayed logged in for weeks (months?) at a time.
Is it just me?
Thanks.

Yeah, been that way for a couple months for me.
What I DID discover is I actually AM still logged in....click on any of the buttons in the tool bar that says "Forum" and so on, and then it refreshes showing me logged in up top and then shows things like "New Posts" under the Forum button.
Don't ask me why..........
"Fiat money is the child of the arrogance of human intellect, which has sought to invalidate the laws of human nature which have regarded the precious metals as money for thousands of years, and sought to substitute an intellectual construct for the real thing. Now we are going to pay for that arrogance." Hugo Salinas Price

I found the same as you, TNAndy.
So, once I was logged in, I changed my bookmark for the site to:
http://www.goldismoney2.com/forum.php
and it opens the forum page all logged in as before, without the rigmarole.

"ALL is ONE" What we DO to and FOR others we DO "TO and FOR" our selves ultimitly!
People SELDOM look for TRUTH! What they look for is CONFERMATION that what they have chosen to believe IS TRUTH! This is why people will believe almost ANY THING and also WHY the WORLD is SO MESSED UP!
IT is never realy OVER -- things just CHANGE!
You can QUOTE me on ALL! It IS what I believe to be TRUE!
I AM, the DUCK
Ahh, that trick seems to work well.
It's not a big deal to me either, *but* if it was only me then I'd devote some time to fixing the issue on my computer. If I know it's a site issue, I'll sit back and shut up.
Thanks guys.
FYI: I just figured out this was an issue with my bookmarks. There must have been some minor tweaking with the web site. I just went and modified all my bookmarks and now I'm back to normal. The other tricks still work but anyways, if it helps anyone else...

you got it,
it is server pointing, of the old server vs the new server in conflict,
1.) sign out of gim
2) delete old bookmark
3) close browser
4) reopen browser
5) search for gim
6) log on to gim
7) add new bookmark,
and that should do it,
some of you may have to clear your 'gim history' in history if you don't want to clear all history.
