After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.

That's great news to me as it at least gives whatever turd the repubs polish a fighting chance against the community organizer. Palin, the quitter, never had a legitimate case IMO...

I think everyone knew she wouldn't run, because she just doesn't have any support. The media likes to pretend she has supporters and stuff, but I never met a single person who didn't think she was an idiot.

What I think her plan really was to get someone to pick her as a VP candidate again. That's why she wouldn't announce, but went out on tour to stay in the public eye. Then when it became apparent she wouldn't get picked for a VP position she announces this.
