At one point Gainesville had them for a few bucks over earlier this year (they sold out quickly). I wouldn't mind having a few to speculate on myself. From what I've read folks were particularly thrilled with the 5oz silver and 1oz gilded examples. The NZ mint did not set a mintage limit though and to date no mintage numbers have been released to my knowledge. If these were made at the Perth mint they would be selling for twice spot already

I bought the 1oz and 5oz from Gainesville last spring,,,,,,,,great looking coin (cept for the Hag).
best quality bullion coin I've ever had.
I was tempted to get the gilded but haven't yet.....they may still be available at Gainesville.

I too saw these at Gainesville and wanted to grab a fair amount as it's an attractive coin that was selling at a low premium. I snoozed and lost the chance back then and then gave up on them and moved to something else.

a very cool coin, glad I got some in the water filled case earlier. given the premium on the bullion I switched back to prospectors for a bit less. but would love to have a 5 oz. taku!
