Ok guys... here is a tip from JSMineset.

He uses a French curve to track on a chart. Can
anyone tell me how to do the following short?

    He's speaking about Treasury Bills

    Dear Jim,

The “fat lady” is singing sir.

    Joe

    Dear Joe,

You are right. Here’s a little advice:

Sell the rallies short using a French Curve short term.

Buy to cover using the same tool.

This could be an occupation for the next 10 years minimum.

Be professional and wait for the trade to come to you.

    Regards,

    Jim

    Default Silver

These divergences are bothering me a little, I want to see them resolve. Until broken I have to go with the first major level of support around the 27.50 level. I think $25 is quite strong but would reassess if we get there, that is my worst case view ATM.

I was gunna post this on Axe's, errrrrr I mean Nero's thread but... it is here instead !

    Zed,

If $25 ends up being the neckline to a head and shoulders, we might end up seeing silver back around $19.50ish.

    Default Yes...

The short term pattern in the USDX is a consolidation pattern, the break out should be in the direction of trend... which is up.... for now! $64 Question is, if this is so, how does this play for gold and silver? Absent another flare up in Europe it is hard to see how this will not be a short term drag on the PM's.

    2c FWIW.

The behavior of the USD is what has really kept me from buying at lows for last 2-3 days.
On the other hand silver and gold i do not get a bearish "feeling". They look perfectly neutral.
And Gold stocks are saying hi-ho silver we are going higher.

For the first time in a long time i am not sure where POG is headed. Same condition after a 10% correction from top i would tend to be long
because it would be a good value. So close to ATH it seems prudent to wait on the sideline.

Water, Meet Blood - JP Morgan Admits To, Reduces Massive Silver Short Position, Proves Millions Of Conspiracy Theorists Correct

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 12/13/2010 18:58 -0500

In the latest example that virtually every conspiracy theory is almost always inevitably proven to be fact, the Financial Times reports that JP Morgan, the firm targeted by thousands of "tin foil hat" wearing, conspiratorially-oriented "gold bugs", has cut back on its US silver futures. "JPMorgan has quietly reduced a large position in the US silver futures market which had been at the centre of a controversy about its impact on global prices for the precious metal." And in what can only be considered an unprecedented victory for all those who have over the past year agitated to putting JP Morgan out of business, most recently spearheded by the likes of Mike Krieger and Max Keiser, by forcing a massive short squeeze on its commodities trading desk, we learn that "the decision by JPMorgan was an attempt to deflect public criticism of the bank’s dealings in silver, a person familiar with the matter said. The person added that the bank’s position in silver would from now on be “materially smaller” than in the past." Of course, the latter is pure and total bull****: as Bart Chilton indicated over the weekend, it is JP Morgan who at one point or another (and possibly very recently) controlled as much as 40% of the silver market, via a massive short. Attempting to make others believe that this short could be covered without pushing the price of the silver metal to over $100/ounce is an indication of either how stupid JPM believes the general population to be, or just how desperate the firm is to end the ongoing short squeeze onslaught. Either way, we are confident that this first unprecedented confirmation that a) JPM is indeed massively short silver and b) that it is hurting bad, will merely redouble efforts to put the world's biggest financial company out of business........

You need to read between the lines here. Plus another little report which was published over the weekend said that JPM was offloading their silver short positions to the next tier, HSBC and BofA, IIRC. And getting others more involved.
So I read this as a shell game. They're going to try and blow up all of the Banks, again.
I've forgotten where I read the report. Might've been on Harvey's blog, or Turds.

    Hawk,

What do you think of Uncle Bucky? As of today (12/15/10) I have it looking back to the slanted neckline of a large H&S pattern. Original neckline break on 12/13/10 @ 80.13 had very strong volume down and today is a look back touch to the neckline. Pattern projects to the lower 77's.

I'm bleeding on my gold contracts and holding so long as last week's double bottom holds. Market variables for me are the confirmation of the tax bill extension and rattling for this week's option expirations. Thoughts on bucky and gold.

Hawk charts are rare find now a days

My humble opinion while not yet confirmed USD has a found a ST if not MT bottom.
Gold/Silver, in case usd has formed bottom have really topped quite possible in MT.
If that happens to be the case a 10% min decline from 1430 top gives a range of 1300 as a very good entry point.

If USD spends sometime below 80 again and 79.6 I will change opinion.
