That chart says we hit the top channel at approx. $1350ish, by around the 2nd week of June. That sounds about right to me. That is my target for the end of this move.

I'm gonna approach this from a layman's view. These charts are all wonderful (even if I don't understand all of it), but, it seems to me that commodities (especially gold/silver) are manipulated like crazy (makes no sense) as stated by Murphy at the CFTC hearings (not that we didn't know already). So, my question is, are these charts even relevant? If both gold/silver are being artificially stomped on and everyone's guess is they "should" be this price or that, why follow charts? (For all us non-financial/investor types)....... Manipulation changes everything that can be nailed down in a chart...... I hear people all the time state that they don't understand why this rose or fell, then everyone speculates on the reasons. Personally, I follow the decreasing buying power of fiat currency and without specifics, know in a normal world, metals "should" skyrocket, but, hasn't. I'm just hoping they can't keep this charade up forever..........

Charts show everything including manipulation. You should understand the point of whipsaws are to take out stops above or below important support/resistance lines. That's how they get liquidity to take profits, by triggering the lemmings into the opposite side of their trade, especially intra-day basis. Although this almost never happens on monthly basis. Personally, the manipulation makes the consolidations that much more steady. They take longer and build a much more solid base than unmanipulated markets (which don't really exist). I meant compared to other markets like oil, where prices are manipulated upwards as well. Would you rather see gold's price move like oil, corn or wheat? Look where they are now compared to a couple years ago.

Maybe I worded that wrong (not the right inflection). I would rather the collapse not come either, but, thats a pipe dream. It will come. With my revelation comes the collapse of civilization too, so maybe I'll just enjoy life and cheap metals while I still can.........

Let's take a look at the quarterly chart of Gold.....nuthing bearish here...in fact I luv this chart I'm gonna snap a parallel line from the bottom two low points to see the breakout point and future resistance levels...fwiw

Hey Buddies!!!!!!! Nice crack of intraday resistance Friday with basically non-existent profit taking as of yet.

Here is my chart from the last trading week, symmetrical triangle break - with potential short play. The trade caught a $40 move, The chart is a 4 hour chart.

The first chart has the pattern outlined before breakout, thus, giving two strategies, one for bulls and one for ( Trap!)

Please let me know of any thoughts,
My account is not large enough to trade futures yet, but I am interested in the comex miNY gold contract. I also have found a broker i like that offers futures and forex on the same platform.

As a certifiable Optimist, I hope that this dollar recent rally has run out of steam. My current Optimist chart of the dollar is copied below. It looks like the first target is the Andrews center rail which is now a little below 79, but will drop over time until the dollar gets to the rail.
