    Default Canadian Silver Grizzlies

Thinking of making a purchase of Canadian Silver Grizzlies soon,as the price of silver dips. This coin has been sold out for a while(at the mint),but they are still available online for about $1.50 more than silver Maples.

I've had one dealer ask $8 over spot for these "rare" coins.

Anyone think they are worth the extra premium,or should I stick with Maples, simply for the silver content?

I've got a tube of each one so far and will continue to buy each one as they come out. With a 1 million mintage they aren't rare, but should increase in value.

Is the Grizzly the first or second in a series? Which was the first, and is it still available?
I know the cougar is next....did you pick up a tube of those also?

I think the grizzly is the least attractive of the series as of yet, the only one that drew my attention was the wolf which was the first one I think? I do remember buying some at one fun show at 8 each, that was for the 1/2 ounce ones though.

Here is an article on the series.

YEs - I picked up a tube of each so far. My LCS get monster boxes from the CA mint, so I had a couple places to go local, and paid 5-6 dollar premium for them.

Do you know if the Wolf is still available?

I found the Grizzly for $1.50 over the Maple price.....would you consider this a good find,as I've seen them as much as $8 over spot?

Use eBay as a hi end reference. They are going for $60 bucks on eBay. But my husband bought a few wolves at the LCS for $38 the other day....

I don't see any on line - you have any local shops you can check?
