You missed the point. The issue was British Soverigns at spot price and then selling for 95-98% of spot if you eventually end up wanting to sell them. Then I countered with gold CML that you can buy at 102% and then sell at 101% if you decide you want to. What would you rather do for buy/sell 100%/95-98% vs 102%/101%?

This might help dispel the notion that paper prices are moving away from physical. It has to do with sudden market moves. People aren't just going to start giving stuff away because the market fell. It takes a while to adjust. Now that the price has become somewhat static, premiums start to fall.
