Default Opinions on Cobra Force Pump shotgun?

I've had a guy offer to trade his Cobra force pump shotgun for my SKS, and I'm intrigued by the apparent spring action in loading the next shell in the Cobra. Anyone familiar with this model?

Hi, here's review by the NRA's American Rifleman Magazine. Looks to me they solved a problem that doesn't exsists and created another. The return spring is not needed. New these are in the $350 range. For that price I would get a Remington 870. A tried and true design. Regards, Mike http://www.americanrifleman.org/arti...r-cobra-force/

Do you have another rifle? Unless you're planning on buying another Rifle, don't trade the SKS for the Cobra. Just buy an 870 like Mike said. Not sure that I would trade the SKS for an 870 either. Around here, the going rate on a used 870 seems to be @ $300-$400 depending on the configuration.

    It's a 100 FRN piece of junk.

I'll trade you one for an SKS!

BTW, if you need a shotgun 870s can still be had for 200 bucks in my neck of the woods...
