Tiger Woods' ex-wife has demolished her luxury $12 million Florida mansion to create her dream home. Elin Nordegren, 32, called in a team to tear down the six bedroom waterfront home in Florida.The Swedish blonde had snapped up the 9,000 sq ft waterfront property in exclusive Palm Beach after striking a reported $100 million divorce deal.
She told town planners in North Palm Beach the property wasn't big enough for her and her family and has called in architects to design a new property.
The blonde ex-nanny has two children, four-year-old daughter Sam and two-year-old Charlie, with her former husband, is staying in a rented home while work is completed.
Workers have been asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and not reveal details of the work...

This about giving her Husband the middle finger. Many woman who have been through similar situations act out like this. The last Ex Wife I knew who was this angry torched her Husband's garage with his antique cars in it.. And that was a normally sane family memeber.

Relationship issues truly have the ability to drive normally somewhat stable people over the edge to insanity.. Tiger stole this woman's innocence and her belief in people. His actions inspired a hardening, coldness and distrust in her that may have never been wakened otherwise.. This woman will have to decide if she is going to live her life to get even or find forgiveness and move on. Many men and women burned make the choice to live their life in bitterness. Its a sad choice.

In all fairness it might not be a perfectly good house. Maybe updates and repairs would have cost near as much as new house. Also how much of that 12m is house ans how much property.

Maybe you're right, but I'm doubtful that it was a $12 million fixer-upper. Even if the land is worth $10 million, the place would have to be a dump for it to not be economical to remodel it.

You know I just don't get it. Why do rich people feel the need to buy these ginormous mansions? I realize I have simple tastes but I cant fathom it. First off the staff and maintenance alone would be a headache. I cant imagine having strangers live in my home because it is too big to care for without a staff.. And then don't they get creeped out at night wondering if there is something going on at the other end of the house.? There could be a band of wild Gypsies living in another wing and they wouldn't know it. !!

You know I just don't get it. Why do rich people feel the need to buy these ginormous mansions? I realize I have simple tastes but I cant fathom it. First off the staff and maintenance alone would be a headache. I cant imagine having strangers live in my home because it is too big to care for without a staff.. And then don't they get creeped out at night wondering if there is something going on at the other end of the house.? I hear ya Avalon I wouldn't want anything too big to take care of myself.

My Dad is a typical boomer and when my wife and I were designing and having our house built he kept trying to tell us we need 3 bathrooms, more bedrooms upstairs, more square feet on and on.

He finally decided to give up when I said I only want to have clean one big bathroom, one kitchen, I don't want plumbing all over the goddam place and I have no desire to try to heat hundreds of feet of unused empty space!!

Not to threadjack this important thread but I have to ask.. Does anyone else know andy War of the Roses couples? Couples who sole purpose for existence after divorce is to get even or one up each other. I have known two such couples.. I have never seen such dirt slinging in my life. Nothing was too dirty and it was mutual with both husbands and wives. Some of the stuff like setting the garage on fire is so outrageous the stories are not even believable. One couple has been divorced 13 years and are still at it. The other 6 years and they are still in court monthly. Both have protective orders out on each other. The insanity wont stop until one of them dies.

I knew a couple that always had to have an affair going. Often, both at the same time. It was always the same crap, too. Wanting to get caught etc. They finally hooked up with some swingers club and I haven't heard from them since.

That is why I admired PT Barnum so much. If he were alive today, He would have her cash, rent her back the house and have her pics on imagefap by noon.

update on this thread. I'm not sure who has the story straight but my understanding is this is the home she shared with Tiger. She also said it was infested with bugs they could not exterminate. If this was the home she shared with him I totally get her wanting to level it. Her life was a lie and he leveled their marriage. The house was probably a constant reminder of the lie she lived so many years. Also she donated many of the items from the house to charity
