Default THE MOOSE IS LOOSE!!! 4TH IN WILDLIFE SERIES JUST RELEASED

Hey all, not sure if you keep up with the Wildlife Series, but I love them Attached some pics, the press release, and the only place I have found them so far. Likely that APMEX, Gainesville, and others will have them soon, but only TexMetals is selling them now from what I can see.

I guess I will not be sending as large a payment to my credit card as I had planned.

You can bet the premiums on the other 3 are about to shoot up, especially the Cougar.

Hmm..a background would have been nice showing some nature behind the Moose! Seems like the Quality is going down every new release

Cool! I have been waiting for the 4th of the series. Its kind of funny that they don't announce what is going to be on it until right before it is released. The T-Rex Cougar price is slightly below the Moose right now, but I am pretty sure that will change. The wolf is around $60 and the Griz is around $45 to $50 right now. Seems like this series has pretty good up potential. The Wolf and now the Griz have held their premiums well and in fact, they have risen. We'll have to wait till next year to see what the other two in the series are I guess.

Quick update: Looks like all the major dealers have them listed for sale now, but regardless they are shipping end of february.

On another note, any guesses on the final 2. I'm thinking one of the final two has to be a bird. Goose?

I hope at least one of the final 2 will include a goose or a loon. On another note - The Cougar is growing more and more on me now after having seen the Moose. Suddenly it doesn't look all that bad anymore

I don't own any. I will probably get the moose. I think the images are on the grotesque side, none of them seems true to life. Even the moose has a mean eye/face. I really like the 1967 animals.

I think the Canadian coin that I don't have and I want the most is the reflected canoe.

When I lived in Atlanta, there was one big coin show every year at which the Canadian Mint would set up a display booth and sales. I would usually buy several things from them, their silver proof sets are particularly nice.

I agree. Seems plain jane without the background. One of the reasons people love these animals is that they are wild and free and so are their surroundings. Too bad they left it out. Could have been good.

I have the first two in the series, and plan on buying all of them. Should make a nice set when all 6 are out.

Any ideas or guesses as to what a complete box set would sell for?
They should be all out in about a year or so.

If the premiums on the wolf are any indication, could be a sweet investment, even if silver stays flat.

I bought some 'wolves' in Nov 2011,best price I could find was $46.

Decided on a few more today....best price was $62.

The grizzlies are also rising quickly, so who knows what a complete set will be worth early next year?

I bought 2 tube's ( had preordered them ) 50 coins for under $30 if i remember ( although i would have to check my paperwork to be sure) These coins will only be worth a premium IF they are not made in the millions & look better than the other stuff the mint produces

I went through my wolf and bear tubes to check for milk spots and at least half of the coins have some spotting, 5 or so in each tube are absolutly covered in milk spots. These spots were not there when I bought them, they have developed over the last 6 months or so. Not that I'm going to stop buying them, but remember that the Canadian Mint produced them as bullion and doesn't care that their process makes the spots. I wouldn't pay too much over spot......

The moose's are pre-selling on ebay for on average $49 delivered, higher than the grizzleys and cougars. This is probably because they are "brand new" being just recently announced. It's just funny to me that people are paying these prices, when it would take 30 seconds to google and find a much cheaper price from an online dealer.
