You will pay ~$300-350 in excellent condition (blued) if you could find one at a show. They aren't making the MKII any more and it is one of my favorite. I would pay it if I didn't have one already. I'll bet you are into the silver much cheaper, no?

    Good luck.

Reasonable. There was a thread about them recently. It's pretty unanimous. We all love them!

Get the Volquartsen sear. No other modification needed.

I like to use mine to shoot at golf balls. They last longer with solids.

The Mark II is the funnest handgun I ever owned.

Some people put a dab of paint on the back of the front sight. Black shows up on golf balls, though.

They have HiViz sights, but the Target sights are much better.

I checked out Volquartsen web site for products/services and saw that crown and thread bull barrles. Nice. Plus triggers too.

Zillions of Mark II's out there, cheap too.

I prefer wheel guns for target shooting. H&R 999, not so available.

I have a 929, it's a swingout not a top break. It's a great pistol, but as a revolver it's not suppressable, and it's not as accurate as my GSG 1911-22, much less my MK II.

If a blow back gun is more accurate than a good revolver (in SA mode) it won't be by any usefully measurable difference.

I like the 9 shot H&Rs for the simplicity and reliability that no auto loader can match.

The triple 9's are getting real collectable value. Its a sleeper for sure.

Revolver accuracy is limited by the cylinder gap. The slightest misalgnment between chamber and barrel, looseness of cylinder, size of gap and consistency of gap all the way around can be very detrimental to accuracy.
