Thanks for clearing that up because I was going to blame the rockets pics that were posted on GIM2. Of course there is nothing wrong with a silver smackdown if it presents an opportunity for people to buy silver at lower prices.

The manipulation especially for the past six months is totally blatant and it is obvious that no regulatory agency will do anything about it because the manipulation comes from the US central bank and Treasury with direction from the highest levels.

I am wondering if there may be somthing very big that we are missing that is happening in the background as we are focused on the falling FRN prices of GOLD and SILVER -- somthing that should other wise be obvious.

If the dollar holds this 80 number, which it has been having a lot of trouble doing so, it will get hard on us for awhile,

we get back to the magic fiat train as the election draws near,

this could get ugly as they are certainly pulling out all the stops, painting pics of clear blue skies ahead

This year’s gain of 5.5 percent compares with an 8.9 percent jump in the Standard & Poor’s GSCI gauge of 24 commodities and a 12 percent increase in the MSCI All-Country World Index (MXWD) of equities. Treasuries lost 1.7 percent, a Bank of America Corp. index (MXWD) shows.

Open interest, or contracts outstanding, in U.S. futures declined to 437,593 on March 14, from 523,284 on Sept. 6, when prices reached a record $1,923.70. Hedge funds and other money managers had a net-long position of 145,997 futures and options by March 6, the fewest since the end of January, CFTC (.MMGCNET) data show.

That contrasts with investors in gold-backed exchange- traded products, whose combined holdings reached a record 2,410.2 metric tons on March 13 now valued at $128.1 billion, data compiled by Bloomberg show. Prices are rising for a 12th consecutive year and will reach $1,897 by Dec. 31, according to the average of 14 respondents in a survey at the Bloomberg Link Precious Metals Conference in New York on March 13.

Went to the junkyard to pick up a light socket for my wife's car for 5 bucks the GM dealer wanted $78.00 for.
I was so proud of myself for saving us so much money...
And I passed the coin shop...
and all I've been buying lately is silver...
So I bought this just so I can make sure my Fisch is still operating properly.
Paid $880.
He said he's been pretty busy buying. Even with the dip, people can't afford to hold.

Bought some metal at a LCS today.....premiums here still range from 3 to 5 over spot on ASE's and Maples..I was able to find 2 over for some
Maples @ another shop and 1 Moose Coin @ premium..45 for the collection...That was tall price but the wifey wanted it.

Side note - My local fertilizer dealer got a call the other morning @ 8am. All nitrogen fert. not sold went up $100.00 a tonne that second!
