Default Old Man and His Tractor II

Wanted to reply to that great short story, but thread is closed for business?

I would love to see an old tractor sub-forum. Something about those old mechanical wonders, like old woman who never leave the farm.

QWAK,Keef,I have a 1949 Ford 9N that needs lots of work but could be a fun restoration project if you are interested?

I rebuilt the engin befor I draged it down here from Chicago but it has no run since 83.

Friends don't let friends drive red tractors. There is a number that you can call to help with your affliction, 1-800-JN-DEERE.

Keef, that John Deere sounds like a Swiss watch

I grew up around a lot of Farmall H's & M's, they were mostly used to pull hay wagons.

I could get them to about 35 mph while pulling the wagons downhill by holding the clutch in and coasting
    squirrely ride

I have a Farmall Cub now, my dad has an H,
    they are practically indestructible

that H pictured above looks great,
GOLDZILLA, bet I could get it up to 40mph! can I take her for a spin?

Some people need red tractors so they can find them out in the middle of the cornfeild.

How can anyone not love old tractors and dogs. I remember we had two farmall As to do woods work. One even had electric start! The other one we had to hand crank. A couple of the finest built machines man ever forged from Gods Green Earth.
