    Customers of troubled Spanish bank Bankia, nationalized last week, have taken out over 1 billion euros ($1.3 billion) from their accounts over the past week, El Mundo newspaper reported on Thursday.

    As I mentioned in the Greek bank run thread. It is all a matter of time before it starts here. JP Morgan was just the beginning of the doubts for US banks by the populace. A few more financial loss disclosures and people will trust their mattresses more than the banks.

    Nah, the general public in the U.S. are dumbarses. I had a two hour discussion with a professor at the University of Alabama that included his explaining why the Euro is safe and the U.S dollar is climbing in strength the last two weeks......This after showing him multiple articles of the mini bank run going on in Greece.
