The way they're printing money it's inevitable, they're gonna have to start printing 500 and 1000s. And yes, with hyperinflation on the horizon, million dollar (zimbabwe style) notes are around the corner. But seriously, stopping at the cnote is stupid. A c buys what a 20 used to. At the very least they should entertain the thought of a K note.

The new bill is a good idea. After all one counterfeiter is quite enough wouldn't you say?
Yes, even more fraud...

Why is this in the conspiracy forum and not the money-fiat-gold-silver-dollar forum?
It is not a conspiracy, the new $100 bill is real![]()
If this is like everything else the government has made, it probably cost 125.00 to make each one.
OOOH. PLASTIC DOLLAR BILLS!!!

Thats an interesting idea. I know they say it costs like 8 cents or something to print a $100 bill, but how many millions were spent on R&D and what not to produce this new bill? So you got figure the first few hundred thousand that roll of the printing press cost a lot more than 8 cents.
The world is not run by some vast conspiracy. It’s 7-billion semi-intelligent apes making deliberate decisions that when combined have unpredictable results.
To say NOTHING of the overall COSTS of the machines, which have LONG AGO been amortized off the books.
R&D may NOT be that big a deal. They FED.GOV employs lots of folks whose only job it is to take ideas and turn them into usable works of art that are then used to produce our currency. I'm pretty sure all those folks are strictly being paid a salary to do this work. And one person could be involved in numerous projects like this over their career. So that cost isn't that big.
But again. realize this is all set against a backdrop of the US Treasury, and through that to the Congress/Senate/White House. The only branch that is not involved (yet) is the judicial branch.

Your video caught my eye. As I wrote years ago on GIM1- ALL the worlds money is now using the same presses-US included. They are made by:
http://www.kba-giori.com/corporateSi...nsf/index.htm?
The only 2 countries not using KBA's presses are Japan and N Korea.I had many ,many articles on GIM1 spanning 6-8 years. Yes-I do have a friend who works for them. And yes-they all now can accept one plastic "die"if desired to make one currency. My oh my, how far we have come.Sit back and watch the show.
You will see that name on the press pictured.
