has taught me a thing or 2 or 3,
or just plain reinforced some simple things to live by,
one of which is freedom and understanding what it is,
for instance,
noticed a propane dispensing cage and cylinders dropped off at a business near by, and it was setup in a clear drive lane on the side of the building. Yet it was not on public property, nor was it affecting me or the neighboring area.
it was also clear that it was a silly place to set one up, kind of haphazard if you will. Certainly a potential issue should someone run into it causing these cylinders to blow sky high.
but I thought about it for a bit, and decided what the hell business of mine is it? It isn't doing a thing to me or infringing on me in anyway, so I moved it to the notmybusiness pile,
I have oft thought about that, or why do I concern myself with stuff that is none of my concern? As time wears on, I find myself erring on the side of staying out of others affairs and get pretty perturbed when something so elemental to freedom is not more widespread.
The little stuff we can do on a day to day basis, to allow others their freedom while trying to hang onto our own.
whereas conversely, it is certainly aok to speak up when the need should arise, in that one person is taking advantage of a situation to the detriment of another.
This freedom stuff is deep and thought provoking at times if one ever takes the time to just stop and give it a nod.
