If this story is to be believed, it would appear the zombie man Rudy Eugene was NOT under the influence of bath salts. It looks as if he had smoked weed ???

MIAMI – A Florida medical examiner says only marijuana was found in the system of a Florida man shot while chewing another man's face.
The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's released the toxicology results Tuesday on 31-year-old Rudy Eugene. Lab results found marijuana in his system, but not any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs.
The department has ruled out the most common components found in the street drugs known as bath salts. An outside forensic toxicology lab also confirmed the results.
Surveillance video captured 65-year-old Ronald Poppo being attacked by Eugene on May 26. A police officer shot and killed Eugene, who bit into Poppo's face in broad daylight alongside a busy highway. Police have not released a motive for the attack on Poppo, who had been homeless for decades.
Poppo has undergone several surgeries and remains hospitalized.

See what happens when you don't prep? This poor man, deprived of even the clothes on his back, was reduced to eating faces to survive. If only he'd planned ahead in the 'good years,' things might have gone differently. Faces aren't even all that healthy for you.

I stand by my thought that LSD would never cause such an episode. On the other hand the cops did say he was carrying a bible.

People can freak out or melt down on LSD given enough of it, but they don't go on face-eating rampages. The guy may have been mentally ill, but IMO there were at least one or two chemicals in his system that did not show up in testing.

It's interesting to note that since bath salts first emerged a few years ago the manufactures have continually altered their product whenever certain formulations were banned. I guess we'll never really know what caused the guy to go crazy...
