May 30, 2012... Open callers, and Orson Welles 1984

No guest is scheduled tonight, so I am open to all callers and will be doing something that I have wanted to do for some time now..... re-broadcast Orson Welles 1984. I have not listened to it so we will be hearing it together. I will stop at 15 min intervals to make comments, and hopefully hear yours.

I think that this will be interesting, and scary.

Anyone with some inside, or trivia information on this man and story are very welcome to share you knowledge.

It was years, and years since I read it. Don't really remember much of it, but in light of the current backdrop of the NWO, and America rapidly moving to Fascism, I think that a refresher would be very interesting. If you 'think' you know what 1984 was about you might want to give a listen. I think that there are some surprises lurking inside because of my deeper understanding of those things lost to a high schooler.

Interesting. So who, or what is Big Brother? The collective or a small group controlling the collective? My take away from all this is 'betrayal'. Once you have betrayed all that you hold dear, including your love, there is little left of the self. Your self worth is gone. There is nothing left of a foundation to rebuild a cause, a belief, or even a new love. When 4 = 5, or when you deny the 'facts', and believe what you are told are the facts, you have betrayed yourself, and only 'Big Brother' is left. By this standard.... we are already there.
