Default I hereby endorse Gary Johnson, Libertarian for President

Well, my father isn't famous and he has never run for president, but if Rand Paul can somehow rationalize endorsing Smittens McRomney. I see no other option.

He sorta did actually pre-debate as I recall. That'd still be enough to toss some sand into the gears.

    What if it's VEEP Rand?

Well, unless Rand comes forward and says that he was coerced into making the endorsement and unless he states the specific areas where he will not go along with Smittens, IMHO he cannot be trusted to return to his libertarian roots as Veep. His credibility is down the crapper. He could have just stayed silent, at least until after the convention.

If Rand accepts ANY offer from Romney, it will constitute betrayal. He's too smart - smarter than Romney. He's not a "yes" man.

RP simply couldn't get past the GOP, their bosses, and and the rigged system - and I'm delusional enough to believe that both Ron and Rand Paul are smarter than that. His dad is grooming him for 2016.

If my choices are Obama, Romney, or Johnson. I'll vote for Gary Johnson. but look what Laurence Vance says about GJ

In her interview with Katie Couric, Sarah Palin infamously could not answer what newspapers and magazines she read. I thought of this while listening to Robert Wenzel interview Gary Johnson. In response to the question: "Who are your favorite, say, top two or three libertarian authors?" Johnson finally mentioned Ayn Rand, but then acknowledged that she was not a libertarian fan and that objectivists are not necessarily libertarians. Then he mentioned, not an author, but the Cato Handbook. When asked about his favorite Murray Rothbard book, Johnson admitted that he had never read Rothbard and that he was mistaken earlier in the interview when he said that he had. On Ludwig von Mises, Johnson said he read only excerpts. On Henry Hazlitt, he said he had not read him either.

And this man is the LP presidential candidate?

    Good points, Joseph.

But most of Johnson's economic education comes first hand from running several very successful businesses. he would freely admit that he's not into "book learning."

So who's next? Rosanne-adana the Green candidate? Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party? And on and on down the line.

Johnson has the experience and record as Governor of New Mexico that far surpasses Smittens in Mass.
